So I play volleyball!! Been playing for 8 years now. I play club and school. My dad for two years for club has been my coach. I play all the way around, and I am captain. Most people think that I have it so easy.. but i have to work twice as hard to prove that I have earned everything I have. This year around March.. I started vertical training. I was not jumping so high and really needed to improve my hitting. So I started.. I can tell you.. IT WAS NOT EASY!!! It’s not going to be! But I had the reasons to do it. For my coaches, teammates, and parents. I told some of my favorite people that I was doing this to keep myself accountable. I worked out everyday including arms and weights into the equation of training. There will be bad days. Boys can dump you (happened to me) put all the anger into the weights and lifted and worked out. Stuff happens that we don’t like. Just push through it and come out even stronger. This summer school ball started. BOY CAN I TELL U!!! There is a difference! and I am hitting amazing. My parents notice.. coaches… and team. So put in the work. You will not see a result right away… keep going. I promise give it a couple months. YOU WILL SEE!! If you have read all this! Thank you!
