I was hungry for lunch. Very hungry. My dad asked me what I wanted, and I said, “I don’t care”. So he drove to McDonald’s while I had to use the restroom badly. When we were in the parking lot, I used the restroom. But it was a lot more complicated than that.
My dad sent me alone to the restaurant. As soon as I opened that door, everyone was looking at me and confused, probably wondering why I was in the restaurant without a parent.
The first thing I did was head to the restroom. Well, more like coincidently following someone to the restroom. I tried to stay as far away as possible so that no one would think I was their kid or something. That person headed to the women’s restroom, and so did I.
Unfortunately, there was only 2 stalls: 1 regular one and 1 accessible one. The person took up the regular one, and I didn’t want to use the accessible one, so I was stranded. They were taking a long time, so that was even worse.
A couple minutes later, someone entered and accidentally hit me pretty hard. Luckily, they were kind, and they just needed to fill their waterbottle.
Finally, I decided to use the accessible restroom. That meant having to most the “Caution: Wet Floor” stand so that the door would close. But just as I closed the door, the other person was finally done. Hey, not the first time that happened!
When I got back to the van, I explained to my dad that the other person took a long time. The food (he used the app) was still not there, but 30 seconds later, the delivery guy delivered our food.
