Will all the planets in the solar system survive when the sun expand

He was playing a space simulator known as Universe Sandbox 2. He was trying to show us what will happen to our  sun in 12 billion years. This is what happen, the  sun started to expand. When the sun was like 4 or 5 billion years old the water on Earth will evaporate killing all life on Earth.At that time Mars will be habitable.

In 6 billion years the sun got more hotter. In 7 billion years the sun starts to cool down. In 10 or 12 billion years the sun will turn in to blue dwarf. All the planets survive but not life on Earth.Earth then starts to get colder and then stop orbiting the sun but then it will come back.

But what I am wondering is is that true and will all the planets really survive

In the dying days of the sun, it expand very little. Our sun will turn into what is called a ''black dwarf''. Since our sun is a smaller star it doesn't have enough gas to expand alot, instead it will shrink and cool down.

If the sun keeps expanding, then it will eat up the entire solar system!
