Evangeline the Cat: She is a neat freak. She has a fashionable taste. She is always telling the other pets that she is from Paris, France. She will only drink tea. She wishes to go to a fancy restaurant for the first time in her life. She also wants to be a pet star on Broadway and win a cat show for the first time in her life. She is a gray-and-white thin cat with no stripes. The thing that got her in the shelter is, well, her being a stray since birth.
Billy the Dog: He comes from a very long line of Winsconsin hunting dogs. He is very loyal, strong, and brave. He wants to get out of the shelter and hunt. He is a pure black Portegeuse Water Dog. The thing that got him in the shelter is he got lost on a hunting trip and he accedentally itched his collar off (he had severe ticks and fleas until the shelter people washed him).
Whitman the Rabbit: He is an old and grouchy rabbit. Rosie the Parakeet annoys him. He is often trying to sleep. He loves green cabbage. He loves being pet. He does not like being patted or hugged. He is an albino rabbit. The thing that got him in the shelter is he was found nibbling a big green cabbage garden that belonged to a big farming company when he was young.
Rosie the Parakeet: She has a good sense of humor and loves berries, grapes, bananas, and oranges. She is very sweet and kind. But she is also loud and has a high voice. She wants her cage to be unlocked so she can fly. She is a blue parakeet. The thing that got her in the shelter is that she was found with a hurt wing in the jungle.
The best story will get starred and win. Disqualified stories will get flagged.
