How do I ask my parents to look at open auditions (you have to read to understand)

Question

So my parents would be like, "But ur already in a play" Ya, ik. BUT THIS PLAY IS BETTER. 

I'm currently in a production of 101 Dalmatians, and I have 4 lines. But in my opinion, my character doesn't really do much and if I left they could just either cast someone else in the ensemble or just change a few lines so my role isn't a thing. But my parents will be like, "I'm paying for it, so ur going." REHEARSAL'S NOT EVEN TWICE A WEEK, AND ONE OF THE LEAD ROLES IS AN EIGHT YEAR OLD WHO CAN'T READ OR ACT!!

There is open auditions I looked at in my area but i dont know how to ask my parents help!
