Ok, But I lowkey have memories of me and my Twin sister (If you are reading this Hilda, remember) of us dancing to this song back when we were in Elemeantry school for a school talent show back in the 2nd or 3rd grade

Oh yeah, I had very fond memories involving this song. Since the title translates to “School song” I always thought this was a song about School (I am able to mentally translate. Inever knew it was a lullaby. I guess this is a song Swedish-American kids learn at school back then. 

Also, in the (Unofficial) music video by the Youtube channel Svensk Folksanger  there were a lot of random pictures. There were some black-and-white photographs of Swedish-American Immigrants (I assume that they’re Swedish-american, because Scandinavian-Americans do have their own traditional wear), Full-color images of current Swedish royalty, and drawings of various Swedish mythological creatures. So IDK what to classify this song as (I mean… The Music video was made in 2020, and the song was published in 2011).

Anyways, I really love this song and I classify it as one of my favorite songs. I really miss Triakel, they really had to break up in their 20th anniversary.

I don’t really like that channel. One of their most frequently images (not saying which one) has a picture of one of my Ancestors (on my dad’s side) in the early 1900s I find it very sketchy.

Whoever runs that channel needs to learn what privacy is. It is unknown who owns the channel. It isn’t like Vikingskog’s channel, since he gives context on the song, and gives credits for the paintings/photos shown in his videos. Also, it is kind of sketchy of them (Not Vikingskog) using those images. I think the creator(s) got them off Myheritage, unless you dont have an account.

Also, Ive seen them use images from Jonna Jinton’s Youtube channel. Jonna has over 5 million subscribers, but she has multiple businesses so I still find it sketchy. I love Jonna and her youtube channel, but a lot of people re upload her songs and gain money from it and it is unfair to her.  The channel hasn’t been active since 2020, so IDK how to contact the people who own that channel. They only speak Swedish aswell.

I also dont know if I want to boycott their channel. They’re small (930 subscribers) and their whole channel is unblocked on my school computer so  I have some Swedish music to listen on my school computer.

Idk how a song about a little girl getting lost at night is epic,  but I love this song aswell
