I felt like trying to make an actually interesting story, so here it goes.

It was May 28th, and Lucas had been invited to a little pride celebration in his town that was scheduled for June 1st. He was ecstatic to go, as he was only 16 and had never been to a LGBTQ+ party.

Unfortunately, his parents stood in the way. Lucas already had a hard enough time telling his parents he was sure he identified as a man, and he wasn’t a girl.

So his plan unravelled with his lesbian best friend, Em, to get over there.

Em hadn’t even come out yet, but her parents didn’t care where she went, so she was fine. But she knew she had to help him get over there. Fortunately, she had a drivers license. But she had to have an adult in the car.

“How are we gonna get there?” asked Lucas, frustrated. They were arguing back and forth on what to do as they sat on a bench at the park.

“Like I said before, you look PLENTY ENOUGH like an adult! Let’s just… slap on some extra fake facial hair and you’ll get there! Give you a tuxedo! I don’t know!” said Em.

“But that’s illegal!” Lucas said. “And besides, you only just got your license! What if we crash?”

“We won’t! I swear! Plus, Kelly got her license a year ago, she can drive too if you’re that worried!” Em was referring to her girlfriend.

“You said she was unable to go to the party!” he exclaimed.

“Fine. You’re right,” she groaned. “It’s just a mile away. Do you want to go or not?”

“Okay, okay!” Lucas agreed. “But if you crash the car, you’re dead.”

“I won’t,” promised Em. “Now all we have to do is convince your parents.”

“I know how,” said Lucas.

—————————

“Mom, can I go to Em’s birthday party on June 1st? It’s just a block away, I can walk there, and I should only be gone like 3 or 4 hours,” said Lucas eagerly.

Lucas’s mom gave him a look. “When will you be home?”

“Well, I’ll leave about 11:00 am… probably 3:00 pm ish.”

“Okay, fine,” his mom sighed. “Do you have a present yet?”

“Yeah, it’s all taken care of!” exclaimed Lucas. “Thanks, mom!”

June 1st, 11:16 am

Lucas preformed his signature knock on Em’s door. She immediately opened it.

“Hey!” she said, coming out of the door with a box.

“Whats with the box?” asked Lucas.

“You’ll see. Now get in the car,” she said.

Lucas hopped in, with Em following after, and she opened the box.

“So apparently at the party they want everyone to have their flag on them,” she stated, “So I got you a little trans bandana and pin!”

Lucas grinned from ear to ear as he took them. “Oh wow, thank you!”

“No problemo,” she said, putting on her little lesbian flag pin and choker.

Em then turned on the car and they were off.

———————

They arrived at the place it was being hosted- a community center.

There were only a couple parking spots left. Lucas cringed as Em attempted to park the car, as she went very slowly and seemed to have no idea what she was doing.

Thankfully, they arrived safely.

The two could hear the music echoing through the halls as they walked inside. After following the sound, they were astounded by what they were looking at.

A disco ball was spinning round and round, lights were dancing, loud and exciting music blasted, people were laughing, and the flags…

Trans flags, gay flags, your average pride flag, nonbinary flags, pansexual flags, bisexual flags, omnisexual flags- you name it, it was there.

Em laughed excitedly and then ran towards a person with a nonbinary and lesbian flag draped on them, and immediately began to try and chat with them.

Lucas was still in a little bit of shock as he happily entered the room, a little dazed by the excitement surrounding him.

He regained focus when a little girl, that could only be at the age of 3, ran over to him with a smile on her face. The father grinned and waved, holding his husbands hand.

“Aww, hi!” said Lucas.

She looked at him, her eyes glistening, still grinning, and then ran somewhere else.

Lucas found a spot on the dance floor and began to groove to the beat. He bumped into someone, who also happened to be transgender.

“Oops! Hi!” They said.

“Hello!” Lucas said.

“I’m Eve!” she stated, “What’s you’re name?”

Lucas told her, and they began to have a little chat that emerged into a new friendship.

Everyone danced as the flags swayed and danced with them and everyone was having a great time.

Lucas smiled.

Good thing we didn’t crash, he thought to himself as he screamed the song Born This Way by Lady Gaga with the rest of the crowd.

“NO MATTER GAY STRAIGHT OR BI, LESBIAN TRANSGENDER I, IM ON THE RIGHT TRACK BABY I WAS BORN…”

Bring this back

I have an episode pitch.

These stories are always LGBTQ, right?

How about a story about a bi girl conflicted between who she likes out of two siblings- a chaotic, feminine, slightly stubborn, yet lovable girl, or… a composed, very masculine, compliant, yet very unique guy.

Idk anything about lgbtq sloth so you do you T_T

I DIDNT SEE THIS

So like a girl who likes two siblings who are exact opposites?

I’m up for it ):D

Also they were revolved around LGBTQ but until pride month I might just make some short stories of anything
