Soo... Yesterday, me and my mom were watching a documeantry about Norway. The documeantry is an hour long, and it was talking about Norwegian history and landscapes. after the documeantry, my mom pulled me over and we talked about something very good.

My mom contacted my school district's student exchange program, and guess what.

I AM GOING TO SPEND A YEAR IN NORWAY!!!!!!!

The News is that It is gonna be for my 10th grade, so I am going once I turn 17 (the reason why it is so late it is because I moved to the USA in 2018) . Also, I am going to have to stay away from my mom and have to live with a (Tempoary) adoptive family, so I am kinda worried about that. Then, my mom said if i liked it there, Then I can permamently move to Norway.

I AM FEELING SO HAPPY RN

WOW YOU ARE SO LUCKY!!!!!!! Make sure to tell me about it when you get back. My mom went to Norway and she said that the coffee there was really good (she went to Oslo) so you should try it.

Also, do you know where in Norway you’re gonna go? Like Oslo or Bergen or even Northern Norway? (That’s where my ancestors hail from)

Update

we have decided to cancel the Exchange program, I decided it will be uncomfortable for me to stay a year outside of home, so we settled on a Norwegian vacation when I graduate from High School (12th Grade, 18-19 years old)
