soooo.

*sips water*

I made a new drawing

So, I looked back to my old drawings from 2020 and 2021, They are mid. The art style is cute, BUT the concepts were cringe (who wants to see the characters of captain underpants as tall, buff men?)

So I decided to try drawing a Faroese girl using my old art style. This took me 1 hour and 45 minutes.

I am thinking of naming her *thinks of cute faroese names for girls* Sól. Basically just means Sun in Old Norse.

The dress was tricky to draw. Usually when I draw things that fold in the neck (such as Hijabs, Scarves, Sámi Neck coverings and Hoods) It is very hard, but I am surprised  how it came.

And what is one thing the Faroe Islands are known for… Sheep! Føroyar (Faroe) means sheep in Old Norse. Due to the huge amount of sheep, Faroe Islands is known for sheep (and whales.) I gave Sól a little sheep friend. His name is Rúni.  Rúni the cursed but cute sheep.

Welp… what do you think of this drawing? It is just a Faroese girl and her sheep buddy.

Did the girl break her arm

If so, she doesn’t even look like she’s in pain.

Tough.
