I’m going to start using tone tags.
This is something used on a website I use, and it can be really helpful to convey tones! I encourage you to use them if you are trying to not have people get the wrong idea!!
/j = joking
/lh = lighthearted
/t = teasing
/hj = half joking
/sarc = sarcastic
/srs = serious
/genq = genuine question
/g = genuine
/nm = not mad
/ij = inside joke
/cb = clickbait
/f = fake
/ref = reference
There are a few more but these are the important ones!
