Chapter 2
Far away, up at Mount Olympus, Zeus was falling asleep while watching the kingdoms below. Then he saw her.
SHE WAS FREAKING BEAUTIFUL!
Iris's long, golden brown hair was tied into a ponytail. Zeus could see her vibrant green eyes from the sky.
She was petite, and couldn't be more than 25. Just Zeus's type! He gaped at the queen, swiping away clouds so he could see her better. When he could see her perfectly, his eyes bugged out. "HOLY ME! SHE'S EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN HER-"
Hera walked in.
"More beautiful than ME?!" She fumed.
"N-no," Zeus stammered. "I was gonna say more beautiful than, her, uh, cousin," he lied.
Hera shook her head disapprovingly at her husband.
Zeus cleared his throat. "Y'know, I'ma go on a, uh, fishing trip. I'll just need 6-8 months in complete and utter solitude..!"
Hera stared at him. "I will be watching." She sighed and walked away.
Zeus transformed himself into an eagle so he could fly down from Mount Olympus. Halfway down, he turned himself into a prince. Iris turned around to look at a bird. While she was distracted, he swiftly placed a rock in front of her. She fell over, tripping on the rock, and Zeus caught her. He rizzed her up, and before you knew it, wedding bells were ringing.
Iris was in the castle's bathroom, placing flowers in her hair before the wedding. Zeus walked behind her. "I need to tell you something. I'm actually Zeus, king of the universe," He said nonchalantly. Iris lowered her mirror and glared at Zeus. "Yeah, right," she scoffed. While she was looking away, he turned back into his true form. When she looked at him again, she screamed. "YOU ARE ZEUS!! WE CAN'T GET MARRIED! HERA WILL FIND OUT!" Zeus laughed. "She won't find out, come on now!"
Hera found out.
She screamed in rage, punched anyone nearby, and trashed the rooms while the Olympians watched in terror.
"WOAH, DUDE! CHILL!!"
"NOOOOO!! THAT WAS MY BRAND NEW VANITY!!"
"MOTHER!! CALM DOWN!"
"STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!!! PLEEEEAAAAAAAAASE!!"
Hours later, Hera slumped down to the floor, exhausted. Aphrodite sat next to her.
"You can't give up on love. He'll be back soon. Then we can plot our immediate revenge," Aphrodite stated cheerfully.
"Why wait? I can have sweet revenge right now. I have a wedding to attend."
