(Accidently deleted the first draft! So this won't be as good and will move much faster...)
I lay there, thinking. How could Draco have been so cold to his former wife? Hadn't he loved her at all? If something dumb like if you're a pureblood could shatter love, maybe it was too fragile. Maybe Lucas's love for me could be broken at any moment, or maybe mine could. A single mistake, all respect gone. Why?
THUMP.
A girl leaped through the window of my dorm, her robes, torn and ripped, swirling as her feet made contact with the floor. It was quiet and Abby and Lizzy weren't there: yet she had gotten through. I made several gasping noises but she didn't explain... she took me by the arm, all her movements like a man's: heavy, confident, and strong. She pulled me into the Common Room, where some boys wolf whistled at her. She wasn't very attractive, but she had grown her hair out and her eyes were brighter than last time. She pulled through the corridor until she reached the Slytherin Common Room, shoving past someone exiting, and grabbed Tom and Lucas.
Hazyl.
"You need to come with me," she said.
Next moment, we were in a safe house. Wren was there, and as Hazyl pulled off her robe to reveal a crisp white shirt and black leggings, I noticed Wren's tacky blue jumpsuit. She shoved up all down into seats. "You're in danger," she said. "We just caught wind that a murderer is after you three."
Tom looked very confused, but then the confusion was replaced with some type of righteous anger. "What the heck?!?!" he said. "WHY WOULD YOU JUST-"
"Why?" asked Lucas, calm. "Why are they after us?"
"You're taking this well," I said.
"Well enough," said Hazyl crisply. She smiled, and I seethed, angry at her for being nice to Lucas and angry at her for spiriting us away. "Anyway, Asia, do you remembered when Ace was Imperioed?"
I nodded. Tom winced at Ace's name.
"This murderer guy did it. John Handison. He also killed your parents, Asia, and Tom, Lucas, he wants to kill you two because you're halfbloods." Wren said. "This is a safe house. We will protect you until we get him."
"Racist, much?" I muttered, about the blood purity.
"Yeah," said Hazyl snappishly. "Anyway, you'll stay here for a few weeks."
"WHAT?" I said. "I'm training to be an Auror! Plus, if he's gonna kill me, that's fine! Imma die anyway! What's the point?!"
Lucas flinched.
"Sorry." I said meekly.
"Get used to it," said Wren as Toby came out. "You'll be here for a while." Toby took a step towards Lucas, and Lucas sensed him. Their gazes locked for a split second, but then he shook his head and went over tp Hazyl, who smiled at him for a second, then snapped back to her usual expression.
"You guys are known on our radar as Silens I." said Hazyl. "The Silent Trio. You three need to be quiet, and you need to lay low. So, we're gonna go somewhere for our next safe house." she smiled at me. "Japan."
