My friend likes my crush

Question

I have a friend named Angela, who asked my crush James out on a date. He said no but she is still saying they are dating.  I want to confront her but I don't want to ruin our friendship.

Well do you REALLY like this guy? If so then tell her she will feel bad for you if she is nice then your ok and if you don’t like this guy than well you’ll just have to live with it and remember that if it does not kill you then your getting stronger. And yeah sorry!

If you really like him you should confront your friend and if she knows you like him that's just wrong. But you could try saying something like "Hey why do you keep saying you too are dating when your not" And see what she says. My friend Emersen likes my crush and she is obsessed with him and I don't really like it I don't confront her because she likes him very much but he doesn't like her. So I think you should say to Angela if she knows you like him, Say something like "Hey Angela I just wanted to ask why are you asking James out when you know I like him? I'm sorry but if that's the stuff your going to do then I can't continue this friendship" And that's okay to say..If she is a good enough friend she should not ask your crush out.. Girlll you went through the exact thing I did. So I had a crush on this boy for a year and now im in 7th grade so i liked him all the way up till the beginning of 7th grade and my friend started to like him and "forgot" i liked him and then they started dating. I went home and I tried to hold on from my tears but then me and my parents were in the car and I told them what happened and I broke down so hard and I was so angry so I stopped liking him and now I like somebody else- but not the point I think you should just move on because there is no sense in liking him if he already likes somebody. So either you still keep feelings for him and wait or you just stop. Up to you. But defenitly update us on monday!

well yeah its hard to get over your crush but maybe just leave him alone for a bit if hes talking to your friend? But yeah it does suck considering that she is your friend but you can't control her feelings and she can't control yours. So both of you guys are kinda in the middle right here. What grade are you in?

Hmm... okay, here are some tips from me. (I've never been in your shoes before, but I will try to help.)

1. Try to start a normal conversation with Angela. Don't rush it, and just act normal.
2.  At this point you want to make sure it is private. 
3. Then, as casually as you can, tell her that you kind of like the guy that she likes. Make sure she doesn't think you are trying to brag or hurt her feeling.
4. At some point, you need to drop the casualness and get real. Let her know that she is a really important person to you. 
5. If she has taken the previous news well enough, tell her that if James doesn't think she is good enough, then maybe he isn't good enough for her. 

Again, try to stay calm and make sure she doesn't overreact. Be nice to her no matter what she says. 

I have not ever had an issue like this, but I know that you are really worried about this issue, and I would be too. Don't take my advice over someone else's who knows more than I do. Good luck! : )
