The Get Up, Part I
63 had finished cleaning out the Covenant ship when a distress signal was heard through his mic.
“Help! A Marine fell into the hole in Leeco City*! Requesting any nearby forces to respond!” A nearby Marine survivor heard the same thing, and screamed “Build the Falcon!” Another Marine yelled “Hey!” 63 was confused, but then saw what they mean by build, as the Marines pushed out a large pallet with portions of a Falcon on it. 63 and the Marines built the Falcon, but came under heavy fire as a Covenant Seraph fighters flew in for the kill. “Start the helicopter!” A Marine yelled. One Marine Pilot crawled from underneath a crushed Pelican, and ran towards the Falcon. 63 mounted the machine gun, but it was blown to bits before anything could be done. 63 managed to grenade slam a Seraph that had gotten too close to the ground. He then hopped back in the Falcon, and yelled to start the rescue. When they actually got to the hole, they found out it had become a lake, due to previous efforts to make the hole less of an eyesore. 63 mounted the Falcon’s remaining door gun, and peppered the assaulting Seraph fighters. “Ready the winch!” “Prepare stretcher!” The Marine managed to grab ahold the stretcher, and he was aged from the waterhole. But that was not all, as a damaged Drop Pod scraped a rotor off the Falcon, and it started going haywire. The pilot told everyone to bail, so they all jumped back into the water. The Falcon’s pilot managed to take down several Banshees and Seraph fighters, until an Elite hopped on board and attempted to stab the pilot. The pilot dodged, and jumped out of his cockpit. The Elite’s blade cut into the fuel tank, and it blew itself to pieces. The remains of the Falcon fell to the remains part of the exploded spacecraft.
Note: Leeco City is a real city in Kentucky.
