My Personal Information!

Hey friends! :)

If you all remember, about a week ago I posted on here telling you that I had some personal information and I'd share it to anyone who wants to hear it. Several people have texted me on KidzNet about it, so this may not be a surprise to all of you. (I apologize if I didn't get back to you!)

Before I told you on KidzNet, I asked all of you to give guesses on what was going on. I got guesses like I was getting married, or if I was bi/lesbian. Neither of those guesses would be true. However, some of you guessed it spot on. 

The truth is, I'm pregnant. 

Like I said last week, I have been keeping this a secret from you guys for over a month. I wanted time to hold onto the fact that I was pregnant for a little while before I told you guys. This is a very emotional and difficult stage in my life. 

I am going to answer some questions you might ask here. If you have any additional questions, feel free to write them in the comments or text me on KidzNet about them.

• It IS my boyfriend's baby. This shouldn't be much of a surprise, actually.
• I know the due date, roughly. It should be about 280 days (40 weeks) after your last day of your menstrual cycle. I should have the baby around December 2nd. 
• I do NOT regret what I did. I want to make that very clear. Some people have asked me why I don't regret it. I understand and respect everyone's viewpoints, whether you think it's okay to be pregnant before or after getting married. However, this was mine and my boyfriend's decision to make. We are both very happy and couldn't be more excited. Nothing could change our minds. 
• I am in 6th form. This is basically, what Americans call it, highschool for juniors and seniors. I understand that this will be a struggle for me, but it's something I'm willing to take. I am very happy. 

Please, do NOT harass me in the comments or through KidzNet about my decisions. You don't have to support me, but I still want you to respect me as a person. Again, I understand and respect your viewpoints. I get that to some people, this might be a sin and that I shouldn't be doing this, but me and my boyfriend couldn't be more happy with how we are. 

If you're not willing to support me, then I ask that you please don't say anything at all. I hope you all have a great day. :)

I would say that me and my boyfriend are very close. I guess you could say we've kind of jumped into things, but we are still both happy. :) We've only known each other for about a year and have been dating since August!

I am 17, but I'm turning 18 in October.

I'm not sure what the name will be yet. We have found a few names that we both really like (for a boy and a girl). We will reveal the name at a later date. Thanks for the questions! :)

I’m so glad you are happy about your decision! Congratulations! Invite me to the baby shower (just kidding!)! I hope you and your daughter/son will grow to be an amazing family. I completely respect your decision, and am very happy for you,  and I don’t get why people would give you grief over it.

I suggest getting a baby-naming book for more information on cute names (I got these names out of a baby-naming book) but some cute names could be Tanya (Greek, sun) or Ian (Hebrew, god is gracious). Just some of my thoughts. Congratulations again!

Personally I don't think that it is a sin, to get pregnant before you are married, I respect, and support Cindy's decision, and I am not against it.

wow! Congrats, Cindy! I just know you’ll be a great mom, and your boyfriend will be a great dad, too. You’ve been through a lot, so it’s nice to know that you’ll be able to teach your child a little bit of “what not to do” ;). Maybe he/she will join KidzSearch when they become the right age, the. we’ll have had two generations here on KS! You must be so excited! It’s crazy to know that someone from KidzSearch has stayed with us this long! I’m happy for you! You probably don’t know if it’s a boy or girl yet, but are you hoping for either one? And do you have any name ideas? Wow, it’s definitely going to be difficult going through your college time with a child, but i bet it’ll be great fun! :)

Thanks so much! :) Haha, giving the baby (once it's old enough) a KidzSearch account is definitely something I will consider! I don't think I have a preferred gender, I will be happy with either one. We have just started to pick out names, but none are set in stone yet. I will soon post about our name ideas and possible name suggestions. Thanks for asking!!

Congrats! Bit of a shock, but I’m totally cool with it. It’s your decision, I’m happy for you. You’ll be a great mum.

That was a shock. But I'm cool with it, it's you and your bf's choice and that is perfectly fine. And if anyone in my family cared about having a kid before getting married, I would not be here since my parents still aren't married. Do you know if it will be a boy or girl yet?

Thank you! You aren't able to find out the gender until 16-20 weeks (4-5 months) of being pregnant. I still have 3-4 months to go. :)

I'm not hoping for a specific gender, either is OK! :) Me and my boyfriend have been talking of names, but none are 100% yet. I will definitely ask you guys for suggestions!
