See, the universe (not including the people in it, and people’s effects on it) is perfect. We have a cycle for water which includes precipitation, condensation, and evaporation, and it works perfectly. We have the perfect planet, which is not too far, nor too close to the sun. It has perfect conditions for living beings such as animals and germs. And then there’s water, tasteless, colorless, scentless, yet it is still essential for our survival.

In fact, if you want to see some of the accuracies and systems that this universe has, look at this link:https://www.forbes.com/sites/startswithabang/2017/01/20/can-science-prove-the-existence-of-god/ . The author of this link is atheist, but he does a remarkable job explaining the universe. Isn’t it strange how accurate and practical the universe is? And did it just show up out of nowhere?

Next is the belief that the creator has no flaws. Because how could an imperfect creature create a perfect universe? It seems that the only things that are imperfect are the humans that are ruining it. And if this creator made humans imperfect in a perfect world, perhaps we are being tested.

(I’m not referring to only Christianity, this is about all religions that believe in an “Existence of a Spiritual Perfect Being”.)

Please correct me if I got some information wrong, I’m still learning.

Thanks for reading,

~Ash

I don't believe in Christianity, though I understand your points. What I believe in, Hellenism is kind of like putting a spirit and a name behind different parts of the earth. For example, the crops are Demeter, and she is the life force behind fields and all of the food that humans grow to survive. Gaia is the earth itself, Uranus is the sky and atmosphere around it. Zeus is more the weather, especially lightning and thunder. Nymphs are each of the trees and rivers and meadows individually. It's kind of like putting life into everything on the earth that isn't animal or human. The Hellenistic gods are uh... far from perfect themselves during their actions, but I don't believe in anything perfect. Everything has flaws. I don't believe in a perfect being that's never made a mistake, and if I did believe there was such a being, I would be terrified. Besides, humanity would be a mistake. Say all you want, they are bad for the environment, have made several species extinct, fight against each other and leave blood everywhere, kill everything around them, and they still can't fix their own issues several thousand years later. Yeah, there are some good humans, but not that many anymore. With Hellenism, there is Pandora's box, and uh, why was the box opened? Oh yeah, the girl messed up big time. She got too curious and opened it and unleashed cancers and stuff.

If you believe in God and Jesus that wouldn't be Hellenism. And technically, there are HUNDREDS of Greek gods and goddesses I can't say I know the name to. I know the Olympians and some other main ones.

Question: how did the cancers get in the box?
by (165k points)
Essentially, the box was a wedding gift from Zeus (I think) for Pandora, though it was a trick. Though he told her "Don't open the box". It contained diseases and a whole bunch of bad stuff that humans still deal with today, anger, hatred, greed, jealousy, and so when Pandora got too curious, she unleashed all of that. Realizing, she shut the box as fast as possible, and the only thing left in the box was hope. So even with all of the bad stuff, hope was never lost. I'm guessing the box was created first and then the cancers were created inside. Or they had to very carefully place cancer in the box. Kind of a ship in a bottle thing.
