Any of yall know how to sucessfully rip open a box with christmas gifts inside and not get caught?

Trying to peek at a box of our Christmas gifts on the fridge but my parents will definitely notice if I just rip the tape off

Any ideas?

I mean you could put new tape on if you rip it off but it would probably be best if you wait till Christmas to see your presents!
