Two. Yeah, that's hard. I have a crush on my best friend, but I don't know whether she likes me, although she hugs me. A lot. And I don't know whether it's because she is a very touchy person or if she likes me. But I can tell you this: The way you talk about this person and how you describe this person says. . .she might like you.
Three. Maybe you could tell the person privately or in a note and if you both like each other but are not ready to date, exist as, well, people who like each other. You could say something like, 'hey, I want to tell you something.' Talk about it, and if you both like each other, you can just know that you like each other, and do things kind of dating-y, without exactly dating. If she doesn't reciprocate, that's fine, but you can still be friends.
Four. Maybe you can say something like 'I like this person as well, I hope we can still be friends, I just wanted you to know.'
