I made a powerful new weapon. With the fragments of our old machine gun, i created some form of a power pistol. Fires 50 cal. I test fired it on a tree with Danilo and Charlie, and boy did it kick. Back home, Mama used to tell us something: fear is something YOU control. Turns out, she lied. This demon is controlling our fear. Charlie is traumatized. Danilo has some Anxiety about everything. And i am afraid each night might be our last. The three of us decided to hunt this demon. I took the shotgun, Charlie took the power pistol, and Danilo took the rifle. First, however, we went to the soldiers house. We opened the door. He wasn’t there. Just some claw marks and more yellow dots. The demon got him, probably. We went out. We stayed close. We looked for it. Charlie spots something. He tells Danilo to take the shot, since its far away, my shotgun cant reach, and the power pistol is too inaccurate. Danilo aims down the sights. He shoots. It hits it right in the back. Its screeching, on the ground, flailing around in pain. We run up to it. I nail it with the shotgun, and charlie shoots it with the power pistol. It was nearly dead. It had a trick up its sleeve, however. It played dead. We walked up to it, and using all of the strength it had left in its body, it pounced. Danilo got tackled, and was down fighting it. Neither me or charlie was willing to take the shot, since they were moving around and we might shoot danilo. Danilo pushes it off, shoots it with the regular pistol, and the demon ran away. Charlie said it was immortal, and that we couldn’t kill it. I agreed, of course. The most insane human being on this earth could not deny that. We found the soldier, in a cage, starved and beaten. We freed him. He asked for help. We took him back and tended to his wounds. He thanked us. We asked him if he wanted to help us build traps to kill the demon. He said yes. Me and Charlie went into one group setting up traps, and Danilo and the soldier went into one group too. We set up traps, memorizing where they were at so we wouldn’t accidentally make ourselves dinner to the demon. We found the demon again, who had surprisingly tended to its wounds. It was only me and charlie. It tackled me, and pinned me to the ground in one position. Charlie knew it was a clear and steady shot, and shot the demon in the head with the power pistol. One again, the demon ran away. It knew we weren’t to be messed with. The demon ran into a trap. It was a cage trap, and he was stuck. We ran to him. We prepared to kill him once and for all. He decided to pick up the cage, throw it up into the trees, resetting the counterweight, therefore almost hitting us. It ran away again. We were amazed at the strength and intelligence of the demon. We decided to rendezvous with the soldier and Danilo, who had surprisingly got along. They got back home and made charlie a prosthetic leg, which he greatly appreciated. The demon was ready to test someone else that night. It was MY shift. I heard it, staying ready and getting my axe, it lured me outside just like it did with charlie. It pounced, however, i struck it with the axe, wounding it. It disarmed me, now putting us in hand-to-hand combat. I learned a bit of wrestling and boxing. I was a good fighter. I was too quick for it, but it was much more powerful. I pounded it, damaging it, but it got one punch on me. I went down. It was down to wrestling now. I beat it, and the fight was upright again. I punched it over and over, stunning it, and while it was stunned, i got the axe. I swung it at its head. It was a bit low, and got its neck. I halfway decapitated it, its head was still there. It realized this injury was too much, and it ran away. This wont be my last entry.
