venting abt lgbtq and religion

so im bisexual i think and my softball team is allllll christian and im not and they are CONSTANTLY talking abt how bad gay people are and how there gonna die early they dont know that im bisexual and the ither day they said "we should just kill all the gay people so then the world will be perfect" i dont know what to HELP

AHHHHHHHHH!!! Tell them. Tell them now. Say hey billy bob, that is totally not cool and I don't want to be friends with you anymore if you continue this behavior. Or, if you have no guts (like me, i'm also bi) "can you plz stop?" I have never experienced that level of homophobia (thank the gods) but subtle things that people say in my class about being queer, I just give them the death stare. But, this is important to remember. Not all christians are homophobic. Like at all. So, don't think that, I'm not saying you are, but keep that in mind. : )

I’m not Christian and I’ve never read the Bible, but I’m pretty sure the Bible says to love everyone.

It also says that homosexuality is a sin, but loving everyone (and God) is basically the point of that religion, so…

Imagine, though, when one day today’s youth is going to be in charge of the nation. Unless a World War III comes soon (which is very likely at this point given North Korea, Iran, Israel, plus obviously Russia), this generation will be running the most powerful country in the world.

Make a horror movie out of that, then you’ll have me scared.
