Chapter 3: Julian
When I woke up, I was squished into a trashcan. I looked down at my feet. My boots were gone. I'm sorry, that should go in caps. mY BoOtS wErE GoNe!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went into full panic mode. My thighs were being stabbed by something very sharp. I put my legs on the outer rim of the can and pushed. My arms pulled myself up, but something pushed them down. I felt the can rolling and bumping down what felt like..... steps? "Oh no," I worried out loud. I was going down STAIRS!
The thing stabbing my thighs went in deeper and I felt liquid gushing out. "BLOOOD!!!" I shouted. I had (and still have) very bad hemophobia. I saw the red liquid pouring down my leg, and I winced and squished my eyes closed very hard. I rolled down some more, screaming the whole time, like: "aH-wA-Ah-Wa-aHHHHhhHhHHHHhhHhHHhhhHhhH!!!"
My can skidded to a stop. Somebody stuck their hands into the trashcan and I grabbed it. He pulled me out and so much trash spilled out. I stumbled, and fell on top of him, knocking him over.
"S-sorry," I stammered. I looked at him, and MY GAWD- He had curly, pink hair, with big, brown eyes, and skin the color of deep, rich chocolate. He was wearing an awesome T-shirt with fire, dragons, and vast mountains in the background. He wore necklaces, rings, and many piercings. I looked down and he had a skirt on, paired with black platformers. I basically swooned (DON'T LET LEO KNOW THAT PLEASE)! "It's okay, I'm glad you're alive, 'cause that was insane, bro!" He smiled warmly.
He extended his hand and I took it. "I'm Kaylianna, you can call me Kay, and I'm uhm.." I hesitated. "Nonbinary and my pronouns are they/them," I said quickly. "My name's Julian and I'm trans. It's nice to meet you, Kay. You can call me by she/her," she said, smiling. I grinned back, adjusting my now broken glasses. "Ouch, are you okay?" Julian asked, pointing at my bleeding thighs and the goop stuck into my hair. I winced, looking at the pencil that was wedged in. I pulled it out, and nearly fainted.
A teacher ran over, asking if I was okay. A crowd had gathered around me. I pulled a cheese stick out of my hair and bit it. Everybody watched me. I stared back. A few minutes later, it was finally time for class. I saw Mika and Maddi staring at me, and I thought I saw my boots in Maddi's backpack. I growled at them and immediatly started scheming on how to get them back. I came up with an ingenius one. "Perfect," I said evily.
