Chapter 3
My idea of the perfect first day of school is my Mom letting me sleep in, me being in a good mood for once, and eating bacon and mashed potatoes (perfect combo). But of course my first day of school isn't at all like that.
"Hurrey up and eat, Mia! You have to get to school in less than 5 minutes!" My mother scolds me.
" Yes, I know Mom! " I finish , and put the dishes in the dishwasher. I grab my backpack, which has cute cat stickers from Kindergarten.
"Well, have a good day at school, sweetie, okay?" My Mom kisses my forehead and I wave goodbye and head out the door.
I realise I forgot to brush my hair as I'm just entering the school. "Aw, shoot. Could this day get any worse?"
I immediately see two tallish girls with long blonde hair standing and laughing at me. Great. Just great. What a perfect start to my reputation at my new school.
