How do I feel prouder of my Venezuelan heritage?

I feel kinda sad because well....

My country isnt associated with snything good

Only good thing my country is associated with is a giant waterfall

I am from one of the most dangerous countries in the world

Do a little research. Then find anything that would make you proud of being from there.

An example would be a notable person who has Nordic heritage being born there/moving there

There is proof of Nordic settlement in Venezuelan

The settlement was by Sweden back in the 1700s. The settlement is near the Guyanese border, and I'm from the north of Venezuela so :(

Im specificaly looking for Venezuela because I'm more proud of my Spanish heritage than my Venezuelan one. Im not even allowed to wear the Venezuelan flag while im with my dad
