DISCLAIMER: This talks about lgbtq+

Soooooo Im confused about the differences between like transgender, gender fluid, or non bianary. What are the differences and how did you find out you were one of these? Also like whats the difference between bisexual and pansexual because idk what it is. I normally would think of myself as bi, but idk theres also pan, and apparently that means liking anyone it doesnt matter what gender they are but I though that was bi... because you like both girls and boys?? So whats the difference between pan and bi? Also what do the 'ia' at the end of lgbtqia+ stand for? And also there are a lot of things ending with sexual or romantic so what are the difference with something ending with sexual like asexual or something ending with romantic? Also what does being asexual mean? Do you just never date? Or you date but you never... you know... do the... thing.... Like IDK im kinda confused. Also, the same thing I put on a lot of my posts, I am not trying to offend anyone, so I'm sorry if I did, I didn't mean to, I'm just trying to understand so I don't offend people in the future. This is especially important for this subject because of the rapidlly increasing lgbtq+ community. (That I would say I am a part of don't forget :))

Thanks so much guys!

-Your slightly confused friend, Phoenix

Yeah, but it has -ity at the end of it. If it didn’t, well…

If it didn't have the ity at the end then the post would get 5k views in 3 minutes hehe

I’m actually asexual. Anyways, asexual people don’t feel sexual attraction towards anyone. We still date, though.

Transgender is transitioning to the opposite gender.

gender fluid is like you may be she/her one day and then he/them the next day.

Non-binary is like being she/he/they/them or they/them for some people it’s like having no gender or being they/them (for me sense I’m non-binary is that I don’t really have just one gender and that my pronouns are she/he/they/them)

Bi is liking boys and girls.

Pan is liking anyone regardless of their gender.

There is also one more which is omnisexiol which is liking anyone but still having a preference.

Aromantic is not being romantically attractive to people or a certain gender (I don’t quite know which one)

Asexually is not being sexually attractive to people or or a certain gender ( again I don’t quite know which one)

But yes they do both date

And don’t worry you didn’t offend anyone you’re just being curious. : )

#1 Why'd u put a disclaimer? If people don't want to read this, they should have looked at the title.

#2 Trans is becoming the opposite gender, gender fluid is both genders, nonbinary is no gender.

#3 Bi is boys and girls, pan is anyone.

#4 Romantic is not sexually attracted to a certain gender, sexual is.

#5 Asexual just means you aren't sexually attracted to anyone. I'm not sure if they date.
