My online life is private, my parents shouldn't be trying to be nosy.

7.) I will never download or install any computer software or apps without checking with a trusted adult.

I can tell if something is a virus or not.

Unfortunately, I really should have listened to #7... My laptop (which I just bought last fall) has been THROUGH it with the viruses I've downloaded trying to find answer keys for my college assignments/ courses

Cheating on my assignments 

Nah, well, kinda. A lot of the time for my science classes, I get stuck on a subject or problem and have no other resources to help me figure it out, so I usually try and find the original document and answer key. Unfortunately, since I'm in college courses, a lot of these files are filled with viruses, whether it be from nasty professors or students trying to discourage cheating or just being a sketchy website/file overall. 

Luckily though, I've actually been using a lot of AI to help me figure things out, but I've noticed it is very flawed- it makes mistakes on simple calculations, and sometimes leads me down the wrong trail in chemical equations.

Oh wait, I don’t think that would help with viruses. Or would it? I mean, it’s based on Gecko, so it probably has some sorta malicious website warning, since Firefox has that.

In short, just get Firefox or something. Or if you want to be anonymous (for the most part) use Tor browser. Tor is VERY slow though.

Number 6 I completely agree with. My parents think I do inappropriate stuff online (because I always close what I’m doing when they walk in) but I just want some privacy. I don’t do anything inappropriate online.

Same thing g with me my mom don't need to know my life  when Nd I know internet safety but I don't have social meadia
