(ignore the sarcastic title im venting but not silly)

My aunt wants me to quit art 

she says that AI art is much better than my art because it creates "prettier" and "faster" art

I told her not to support AI art since AI art is stealing from artists. she said that she dosent care about real art and that she was gonna report my mom that im invading her privacy. 

She also said that my art is not meaningful. My aunt's definition of meaningful is snoopy, AI generated animal drawings  (look up Cute AI animals to see what I mean) and babies. all AI generated drawings.

i make art of people dressed in Scandinavian folk costumes. i make art based of Scandinavian history. 

I may get cancelled for this but. I just dont know. I feel like I should do what my aunt says

quit art. if my aunt finds AI art better than her own SPECIAL NEEDS niece's art, then im the problem.

I had to read that last sentence a few times-

1. I'm sry, and ik imma get hate, but ur autism doesn't define how good u are at art. there are grown adults who have autism, that are actors, artists, comedians, singers....you name it! it doesn't matter!

2. you aren't the problem. u never were. ur aunt is.

3. AI is horrible. I dont abt Siri and Alexa/Echo, but things that generate art...no. Dove®, yes the soap company, did a project where they asked AI to generate the most beautiful woman in the world, and then showed all types woman, no matter race, age, shape, lifestyle, whatever. AI needs to learn, or die.

Don’t quit art! As a fellow artist you should draw what you want, don’t let any one else say that your art is meaningless, no one’s art is meaningless.

 And don’t listen to what your aunt says about art, yes I do support AI art but only if people don’t use it to steal other peoples art. :DD

No, your aunt’s the problem. Tell your parents about what’s happening, and ignore your aunt, because your aunt is trying to destroy your self-esteem.

And also, AI art is cursed, so your aunt likes cursed stuff. Therefore, she is the curse.

I feel like your aunt is more in the wrong here because I love your art I’ve seen some of your old art posts and I thought they were very good!

I mean AI is cool but a real artist puts more effort into their art then an AI, sure an AI can make a drawing in about two seconds but I personally prefer an actual persons art!
