Gods and Goddesses of mobs and humans, divided between Light and Dark, Good and Bad, and Hero and Villain. The children of these gods and goddesses would be born with the trait of their parents. Usually gods and goddesses mated with other gods and goddesses, even ones with different type of mobs. But some had children with humans.
To keep gods and goddesses divided still, those who were Netherborns, or demigod children of evil gods, were sent to the Badlands. A destroyed and awful land where "mistakes" and evildoers who committed treason stayed.
Skyborns, or overland demigods, stayed in the overworld. They either lived in the glorious flatlands, majestic mountains, or the infinite. They lived in multiple biomes, each having their own unique pros and cons. Villages lied here and there. Humans and Skyborns lived in harmony and helped each other thrive and grow.
But Netherborns were never included. And that would start a war that would result in a continental divide. Starting with a group of 12, deciding to make a change. The Blackstone Crew.
