Ok so my dad and I were planning to go on a very short camping trip today like just staying the night and leaving in the afternoon or morning
My throat had been sore the past few days and I didn’t really think I could handle it so I decided not to go I was starting to kinda regret not going for a while and my dad came back at around 8:30 ish because he kinda got bored and just before typing this he said the trail was honestly kind of hard even though it was marked as moderate and it was mostly uphill and he got THIRTY THOUSAND STEPS today, if I had gone I probably would have had a breakdown or multiple on the way up
So I’m now not really regretting not going I’m honestly more relieved I didn’t go
