Realized that for a few chapters I wrote in 3rd person instead of first, so I'm gonna correct that here. Still too lazy to go back and correct the other ones, though! Anyway, enjoy! It will be longer! Also, Knight, I forgot who was the head of Slytherin, so I just improvised a guy! I hope that's correct! (Geez, am I forgetful.)
Silens I Chapter 14 Book 3
Hello? ...Whose there?
Oh, you don't remember me?
I'm your death, I'm your life.
The fate that keeps on coming.
You know when you will die,
But you still want to add hours to your clock.
Come to terms with me, child.
Come to me, and die in my arms.
Come visit your old friend.
My name is Death.
But you already know that.
I stared at Tom intently, at the look of terror deep in his eyes. I decided to not ask again what he had seen.
"I..." he began, but didn't continue, pausing for a minute, before: "I have to report something, I'll be back." he said, and then stared hard at me. "Don't go in there," he pleaded. "Please." Then Tom took off down the hall.
I peered around the corner, into the dorm. If whatever Tom had seen had shook him up this badly, it must be terrible. All I saw was a faint outline on the ceiling, and blood dripping steadily down. A body? Why would a body--
Tom was back, yanking me toward the common room. Behind him was his head of house.
Saturday approached like a slug glued to the floor. Aka, it took forever. I slept in Hagrid's hut that night, and wondered around Hogwarts during the day until I could find both Tom and Lucas.
"Lucas?" I whispered.
Lucas looked around from where he was standing in the corridor. "Is it time?"
"Yeah," I said quietly. I took his hand, and he squeezed it gently. "We're gonna go to Hagrid's and figure out what to do. You ready?"
He nodded, and we walked towards Tom. I gestured to him with my free hand, and we slipped through the crowd toward the front of the school. I caught a glance of the Andrew kid, but then we were out of the school and dashing into the Forbidden Forest.
