My friend is being a flaky emailer. How should I react?

I said something sarcastic when she finally said hello back.  I just said "finally checked your inbox, huh?"  And now I feel bad.  Help!!!  How should I respond?

You should tell your friend: I'm sorry I didn't mean what I said! I was just irritated that you haven't responded to your email in days!

Basically, I would do what anonymous said. I would say "sorry, that came across as rude! Bad joke :p"
