“what should we watch next?” Winston said, as it was 12:00 am and everyone was staying up late and getting acquainted. “COBRA KAI! COBRA KAI! COBRA KAI!” Ryan and Dave said, quickly and eager to watch the TV-14 show. “Why not!” Winston replied. He turned it on cobra kai. Right as he pressed play, this warning popped up: “This is not a drill. I repeat, this is not a drill. The purge has begun, villians are on the loose, and should be avoided. Do not engage them, or you may be injured or killed. Games are being invaded and destroyed. I repeat that this is not a drill. Stay inside. Protect your families. Keep doors locked and windows closed. Use boards to secure your windows and doors. Their leader is scarry larry. If you see him, you need to run or hide. If you try to fight him, you will be defeated.” The automated voice said on the tv. Ryan slowly finished his pizza as he listened. Dave said it was nothing and told everyone to calm down. Winston was a little scared but was fine when Anna said it was fine. Emma calmed down Zoe, who was panicking. Ellie just ignored it, and Tina asked Ryan if he could put nails on his bat. The adults were terrified and ordered boards for the house. They would arrive the next day. “Thats not soon enough!” Zoe and Emma’s Dad said. “ITS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! WE CANT FIND ANY OTHER WAY! I HAVE MY GUN BUT I DIDNT PACK ANY EXTRA AMMO!” Ryan’s dad yelled. “I GOT MINE TOO, WE CAN FIND SOME AT THE HARDWARE STORE, WE GOTTA BE QUICK! ANYONE GOT WEAPONS?” Dave and Winston’s dad yelled. “I left my AR-15 in one of the boxes in the garage. I’ll go get it, theres a 30 round mag. I’ll load it, and I’ll still have some ammo to spare. Lets go.” Zoe and Emma’s dad said. “Alright. Tell the kids we’ll be back by 3:00 am. If not, we’re either dead or arriving the next morning, maybe even at noon. Dont tell them we’re dead unless we’re not here by 3:00 pm tomorrow. Tell them to find whatever weapon they have, strengthen it, and use it.” Ryan’s dad said. “Alright honey, be safe. I love you.” Ryan’s mom said. She said a tearful goodbye and told the kids about when their parents would be arriving, and what to do about weapons. “Do we have any nails and/or tape?” Ryan asked. “Yes, but we’re planning on saving those for later.” Dave and Winston’s mom said. “I need them to make my bat more lethal. What if they enter one of the rooms?” Ryan said. “Alright. But dont use too many. Four for each side. Thats 16 nails. Dont use too much tape either, alright?” Dave and Winston’s mom replied. Ryan agreed. “Also, me and your mom will guard two of the rooms. Anna and Winston will guard your room since they’re the oldest.” Dave and Winston’s mom added. “Alright then.” Ryan replied. They all started to find weapons. They carried the ladder to the attic, where they found multiple weapons, including a club. They found rotten pizza, which they decided to leave alone. They also found a pack of still good bloxy cola. Anna tried to pet the cat. It scratched her, and then she scared the cat away on purpose. “Karma.” Dave said. “Tell your brother i said im glad he’s protecting the room.” Anna said. “You like him. Admit it.” Said a Zoe who just walked in. “Stop doing that, its getting annoying.” Anna replied. “Stop trying to stray away from something, THATS getting annoying.” Zoe said back. “Okay, fine. Don’t tell him.” Anna finally replied. “I think he already knows. He told me not to tell you this, but its pretty obvious. He likes you back.” Dave told Anna. “Really?” Anna said as she blushed heavily. “Yeah. Stop blushing, its pretty cringeworthy.” Emma said. “I agree.” Zoe added. “SHUTTUP! I HEAR SOMETHING!” Ryan loudly whispered. “Wow, thats ru-“ Emma said before getting her mouth covered by Dave. “I hear it too, sounds like banging.” Dave adds. The sound stopped. “Lets go to sleep.” Winston said. Zoe, Anna, Winston, Dave, and Ryan went to the room and laid down. Everyone but Anna and Winston went to sleep. “I cant go to sleep.” Anna whispered to Winston. “Me too.” Winston replied. “Im really scared. Do you think we’ll be okay?” Anna said. “Im not worried. It’ll be okay. I have my knife with me anyways. We’re good.” Winston replied. “Hey Winston-” Anna said before getting interrupted by more banging. The window was shattered through, and two villains in a drama mask, balaclava, and tuxedo rammed through and entered the room. Everyone woke up, and fought the villains. Zoe and Dave were immediately knocked out. Anna tried holding off one, but got knocked back, pretty hurt. As the villain prepared to kill her, Winston stuck his knife into the side of the villians neck. He started to choke on his own blood. He died due to suffocating. Ryan was holding off the other. He was smaller than the other villian that had just been killed. Ryan swung his bat into the villain’s stomach, which impaled him. He started to bleed. Right as the villain looked down at his wound, ryan swung the bat at his head, impaling it and killing the villain. They looked at the blood around the room. Anna rushed to Zoe and Winston rushed to Dave. Ryan secretly took the cash from the villains pocket. They all woke up, and went back to sleep. Turns out, the other room got attacked too. The adult held off the attack though and they were fine. The other room was fine, however. They went back to sleep with a new fear.
