Best Friend: "Are you depressed?"

Me: "No."

Best Friend: "Are you sure? I could comfort you...."

Me: "I'm fine!"

MY MIND

Best Friend: "Are you ok? You seem sad lately."

What I Want to Say: "No. Only you and (other best friend) actually ask me if I'm ever ok. I get bullied constantly and all I want to do is disappear. I've had s*icidal thoughts at night because if it. I've started to have panic attacks. So no. Please comfort me."

What I Actually Say: "I'm fine."
