Noor said “Really? By the way I want sharpness as my enchantment. Enchant a sword of your choice with it. Also, here’s the requirements.” and handed Steve a paper.
Steve looked at it and said “Noor? You are aware this was due today. Right?”
Noor said “I’ll fail again and you’ll never be proud of me!”
Alex came in and said “Noor honey, Steve cares very deeply about you. He just doesn’t show it because you can’t do PvP and he is one of the greatest PvP players of all time. So, don’t worry. Even if you fail, he’ll still make you only do one more year. Right Steve?”
Steve sighed and said “Next year none of them are taking PvP classes. I’ll still make Zuri do them until she’s a full fledged legend. Took me 15 years.”
Alex slapped her forehead and said “None of your kids are like you! All of them hate PvP! Learn to live with it!”
Steve said “Noor, I’ll see if I can talk your teacher down to extending the deadline by the end of today.”
Steve then got a call from the school saying Noor goy=t an extension on his project.
Steve hung up and said “Noor, you get a two day extension. I’m so happy. Now you can do it yourself”
Zuri then came down from her room and said “Steve, there’s something I have to show you. I know you’ll be angry at me for it and you should be.” and handed Steve a PvP test (that she failed.)
Steve saw the failed PvP test and made a fist and then put it down.
After he put it down he said “What’s the point in trying? Zuri ruined my whole legacy! Why bother anymore?!”
Alex said “Maybe she made a fake test to fool you?”
Steve looked closely at the test and said “Nope! It has the PvP council logo on it. Zuri, you really did fail.”
Zuri said “I’m so sorry your legacy is now ruined.”
Steve said “All good. But, I have one thing I need to tell you about being a legend. You want to know why I’m friends with so many villagers?”
“Yeah”
“PvP legends are extremely unpopular. Very few want to be friends with them. Majority of legends just want all other legends to battle with and nothing more! You may be popular now, but when you become advanced like me, most if not all your friends will reject you!”
Zuri said “Chill out Steve. This was just a pretest to see if we need to cover the unit that much!”
Steve said “Oh, what a relief. I was worried I would have to give up my legacy”
Two nights later, Zuri came home late from school.
When she came through the door with Alex, Steve said “Zuri! You missed your trainer. Today was the day you were going to be a full legend!”
Alex said “Geez Steve, she just had a party to go to! I told you to cancel the tutor for the day when she got the invite!”
Zuri said “Alex, I think he’s getting suspicious. Tell him the truth”
“No! I don’t want him to know what we were really out doing.”
Steve said “What were you doing?”
Zuri said “I know I forgot your birthday this year and I’m sorry about that. We were just getting you a birthday gift.” and handed Steve a painting of the family.
Steve said “Aww, is this really what you wanted to get me? But, Zuri, you did get me something. Remember, you got me the sword upgrader for me?”
Alex said “Actually, we got you this for PvP legend day.”
Steve said “Oh, that’s today”
Alex nodded and looked at Steve and said “Yeah”
Zuri said “Steve, let me be honest with you. You know everything about PvP. Can you please help me with a project in my PvP class? Due in a week.”
“Sure! After tonight I have to do Noor’s project on an enchantment that was due two days ago. He got an extension, it's due tomorrow and he has just started it. I’ll have to do it for him at this point”
Noor then came down and said “Steve! Can you do my project for me?”
Steve nodded and said “I was going to do that!”
And then dinner was ready.
Alex pulled dinner out of the oven and yelled “Dinnertime!”
Everyone ran to the table and Steve slowly got up and walked to the table.
Alex said “And, tonight it’s the pork dish we have every week. Steve, do you hate this because it seems like you do.”
Steve said “Yeah. Young legends need to have it every week though.”
A half hour later, dinner was done.
Steve started Noor’s project and said “Noor? Digital or not?”
Noor responded “Digital. You need to make a presentation.
Steve nodded and started to make a presentation about the sharpness enchantment. At about 11:00 he completed it.
He sighed and headed to bed.
The next morning, Steve was woken up by Noor screaming.
Steve ran downstairs and said “Noor! What’s going on?”
“You forgot to enchant my sword”
Steve quickly enchanted the sword with sharpness and handed it over to Noor.
Noor said “You really should work less”
Steve said “If you fail these classes it reflects on me!”
Alex then came downstairs in her slippers and robe and said “Noor, too early to yell like that. Keep in mind me and Steve are extremely old and can’t help you that much. Steve, I see you got it under control.”
Steve nodded and said “Yeah. Just go back to bed. Nothing to worry about.”
Noor then started to cough very loudly and disgustingly.
Alex said “Wait, these symptoms seem like… Oh no! No, no no no no. I don’t have the time to care for him all the time!”
Steve said “What is it?”
“Wither sickness!”
Noor said “Sweet! I will be out of school for a week or more!”
Steve said “Yeah. We don’t have the care for you. Better tell the village medic. He owes me a favor because I saved him from that creeper.”
Alex said “Steven! We will care for him ourselves! You’ll have to cancel his tutor and Zuri’s PvP trainer until he recovers!”
Steve slammed his hand down on the table and firmly said “No! We’ll hand him over to the village medic!”
Alex said “You’ll still have to cancel the tutoring and the training!”
Steve sighed and said “Alex, we can’t care for him! We don’t know how!”
Alex nodded and said “Good point”
Steve said “Now Noor, I would like it if you went back to your room until all your siblings leave for school.”
Noor said “Why should I?” cockily.
Steve pulled out his diamond sword and said “Really willing to take that chance?”
Noor ran to his room and Steve put his sword away.
Alex said “Steven! After that, I think we’ll have to be done!”
Steve said “Please? One more chance!”
“I’ve given you hundreds of chances! We have to split up now!”
“How about we just take a break? I go hang out in my other village for a few weeks and then we’ll see”
“No! We’re ending it all forever!”
Steve said “Anything that can heal the relationship.”
Alex said “Yes! Just make five minutes a day for me!”
Then Zuri came down and said “Guys, we’re going to be late to school unless you guys hurry up”
Alex said “Remember five minutes a day”
Steve said “I’ll try. Hey Zuri, wake everyone up except Noor! Don’t even go into his room!”
“Why not?”
“Wither sickness”
“Oh my! Will you be the one that cares for him?”
Steve sighed and said “Yeah.”
Alex said “Good, you’ve started to repair it.”
Noor then came out of his room and said “I’m hungry!”
Steve yelled “Noor! Get back in your room!”
Alex said “I think the medic will be able to help noor better than we will.”
Steve yelled “Noor! Pack clothes! You’ll be staying in a med-chamber”
Noor went back into his room and started to pack.
After an hour or so, the bus came and none of the kids were dressed.
Steve said “Alex! You get the kids dressed, I talk to the driver.” and ran outside.
The driver said “Oh, it’s you. Are you the parent of Noor?”
“Yeah.”
“Well, he sometimes throws slimeballs at my head. I’ve been meaning to tell you.”
Steve said “Okay, we’ll take him to school for a while until he learns to behave”
Then the kids all came out and got on.
Noor tried to sneak on. Steve grabbed Noor’s collar and said “Nope! You got wither sickness!”
The driver said “Bye!” and sped away.
Noor said “Why did you stop me? I have to show off the presentation you spent all night on.”
Steve said “Oh my! I have to test out the swords!”
Alex then came out and said “Time to take you back to school Steve.” and laughed and took Steve to the school.
Alex then brought Noor to the medic to find Noor had no wither sickness.
Alex said “Noor! You’re in trouble! You faked your way out of school” and brought Noor to school.
When Steve got home, he collapsed onto the couch and said “Welp, I never want to even see a sword again.”
Alex said “Uurg, today wasn’t all good for me either Steve! The bunny ran away and I had to catch it”
Steve said “Okay.” and went to the kitchen and started to make a couple of fruit salads.
When he was done, he brought them out to Alex and sat next to her and handed her one.
Alex said “Aww Steve. This is perfect! You know I love these.”
Steve then started to eat his salad and then after he was done, his back started to hurt.
He began to rub it and said “Ow my back really hurts.”
Alex said “Don’t worry. Your appointment with the doctor is tomorrow.”
Steve said “Oh my. It hurts so bad.”
Zuri said “Umm Steve, can you please help me? Today’s the day where I get to be a fully initiated legend! I need to plan a speech.”
Steve said “Aww. You do know I had to plan my speech out for an entire day. I’ll try and help you write one quickly”
Steve logged onto his computer and opened a document and let Zuri start to type her speech.
After an hour, when she was done, Steve looked at it and said “Great job!”
Then the trainer arrived.
The trainer said “Today I won’t be working with Zuri. I’ll be talking to her parents or whichever parent signed Zuri up for this”
Steve said “That would be me.”
The trainer said “Zuri, come here. You’ll also be involved in the talk.”
Steve sat the trainer on the couch and sat down with Zuri.
The trainer said :Well, Steve, Zuri has great potential. She is highly motivated, the right amount of trusting and she seems to have about the right amount of anger for a true legend. The only problem is, she’s weak and doesn’t have her own move. So, I would like it if you got her to come up with her own move.``
Zuri said “I have my own move!”
And stood up and spun and attacked the armor stand that was nearby.
The trainer said “Okay, she’s just too weak”
Steve said “She’s strong enough to swing a highly enchanted netherite sword! I think she’s good!”
The trainer said “Tomorrow you’ll be a full legend. You’ll get the ceremony and everything.”
Steve said “What ceremony?”
“Oh,we kind of forgot to do it with you. Technically you are still a legend though.”
Steve said “Also give me the ceremony!”
The trainer said “You or her can get it. Only one of you can get it. Well… the other can get it after a month.”
Steve sighed and said “Please forgive me for this Zuri. I pick myself.”
Zuri said “How could you?!”
Steve said “Zuri, there’s a lower chance of me being here next month! Let me go tomorrow.”
Zuri said “Fine!” and huffed angrily
The trainer said “Okay, but, both of you can go tomorrow. It will just be insanely expensive.”
Steve said “How much?”
“10,000 diamonds.”
Steve said “What?! If we do it separately?”
“500 diamonds total.”
The trainer said “Zuri, you technically aren’t a full legend until you have the ceremony. I’ll give you one minute to convince Steve to let you go first.”
Steve said “Wait, If I go second, will I still be a legend?”
Then the trainer said “Wait, you may be out of the age restriction for the ceremony Steve. How old are you?”
“73”
“Well… the cutoff is 70. We’re sorry. You won’t be able to have your own. You may be able to have one with Zuri if she will allow you. Just remember, if both of you get the same ceremony it’ll be 10,000 diamonds and not all the attention will be on either one of you.”
Zuri said “If it were just me, how would it work?”
“Well… you would get an awning over the back of your house of a block of your choice and have a path lined with flowers of your choice with a carpet of your choice. But, if both of you want the same one, you have to agree on it.”
Steve said “Fine! I’ll just not have a ceremony.” and sighed heavily.
Makenna said “Steve, today in my redstone class, we learned there’s an age swapper so you can swap ages with her for it then swap back so both of you get the ceremony.”
Steve said”What did I tell you about disturbing me and Zuri when we’re talking about PvP?”
Alex said “Steve! She was just helping you!”
Makenna sad “Not to do it”
Steve nodded and said “Correct. But, where is this redtone thing?”
“Oh, in the middle north region of PvP”
Steve said “Aww, excuse me, Is swapping ages even allowed?”
The trainer said “Umm, yes. But, you can never switch back. Just the rules for PvP.”
Steve sighed and said “Okay. Zuri, We’ll have the same ceremony.”
Zuri said “I want my own!”
“Well, I want one too and the only way I can now is by being in the same one as someone else!”
The trainer said “Wait, actually, Steve the cutoff is 75. I just got a bit confused with the redstone restrictions”
Steve said “Anything Zuri should know before the ceremony?”
“Well…. If she passes the test tomorrow she’ll be a legend. If she doesn’t, she’ll have to wait a month”
Zuri said “Is there a practice test?”
“I’m sorry. Not that you can access. Only current legends and council members have access to it”
Zuri looked at Steve and said “Can Steve access it?”
“Is he a legend?”
“Yes”
“Then yes.”
“Steve, can you access it for me?”
“Yes”
The trainer said “Goodbye, I really liked this visit. Hey Steve, if it wouldn’t be too much of a bother, can I see all your PvP awards?”
Steve said “Well sure” and showed the trainer to his room and said “Here they are.”
Zuri then ran up and said “Excuse me Steve, you left your auto swinging sword out and now Noor is using it.”
Steve said “On my! Noor! Get up here now!”
Noor rushed to Steve holding the sword.
Steve said “Hand me the sword.”
Noor said “No! It’s mine!”
Steve said “Remember Noor. You said you would never touch any of my PvP supplies again!”
The trainer said “Oh my gosh Steve, I’ve been so rude! I’m Francine. Also, why did you make Noor promise not to touch any of your PvP supplies again?”
“Oh, he touched the sword of swords at the PvP museum. He know it wasn’t mine but after that, I just couldn’t risk him getting me in more trouble than that!”
“What?!” said the trainer.
“Yeah, now please get out. I have to help Zuri.” and the trainer left.
Noor said “Steve, can I please have one of these swords?”
Steve said “No!”
The trainer went to Steve’s room with Steve.
The trainer then said “Can I please look closely at the diamond studded one?”
Steve said “Oh, my most prized one? Sure. I’ll take it down for you.” and grabbed the diamond studded gold one.
He handed it to the trainer and the trainer said “I can’t believe it was that easy!” and laughed maniacally.
Steve said “Hmm this is getting a little suspicious. Can I have it back?”
The trainer then put it in her bag and ran out of the room. Steve ran after her but tripped and fell just before he caught up to her.
Steve yelled “Makenna! Help me! Zuri’s trainer is actually a master griefer! She took my most prized PvP award!”
Makenna got up and ran to the trainer and said “I got her, now what?”
“Demand the award back!”
Makenna said “Hey, Steve demands you to give the award back.”
The trainer said “Nope! Well… maybe if there’s a challenge.”
Steve got up and said “Alright, if that’s how you're going to play it, I challenge you to a PvP battle. If I win I get to keep my award. But, if you win…” he gulped “it’s all yours''
The trainer said “Deal.”
Steve sighed and said “It will be as soon as I am ready.”
Alex ran over to Steve and said “Honey, you’re too old for that! Just give it to her. I’m sure the council will be understanding and let you get another one.”
Steve yelled “No they won’t!”
Alex said “Zuri can do the battle for you.”
Steve sighed and said “No. The trainer knows all of Zuri’s moves. I have a few I’ve never used since my beginning days.”
The trainer said “Unless you’re ready within five minutes, it’s an automatic win for me!”
Three minutes later, Steve was ready.
He said “Ready, we’ll do this in the backyard!”
The trainer said “Who will hold it while we do battle?”
Steve said “Zuri.”
The trainer nodded and went to the backyard with Steve.
Steve was super tense because he had never done battle with a trainer.”
The trainer said “Steve, ready?”
Steve gulped and said “Yes” nervously.
Steve drew his sword and yelled “Go”
When Steve was down to half a heart he thought he was done for. But then he remembered he always had healing potion on him. He quickly drank a healing potion and then after a few more blows Steve killed the trainer.
The trainer respawned and said “Alright! We’re officially blacklisting your family. But, you get your award back.
Zuri yelled “No! You will not blacklist us! That wasn’t part of the deal!” very angrily.
Steve said “Yeah!”
The trainer said “Perhaps you should’ve asked for details about what would happen if you won!” and pulled out her phone.
Steve started to cry and said “Keep the award, just don’t blacklist us!”
The trainer looked at Steve shocked and said “You sure? This award was a one battle only prize. You’ll never be able to get another one!”
Steve said “Either keep my most prized award and blacklist us forever or give up my most prized award and not have us blacklisted.”
Zuri said “Steve, if you really want the award, go on. I can live not being a full legend”
Steve sighed and said “I guess it’s no award. My legacy is more important than anything else.”
Alex then ran out and said “Excuse me. Perhaps you’ve heard of me? I’m Alex from Steve’s most famous battle. If I win a battle against you, he gets both his legacy and his award. If you win, he gets neither.”
Steve said “Alex! No! There is no way you’ll be able to beat them!”
“I will if I have you on my side.”
Steve sighed and said “I guess. I may lose everything. But, better than only having one.”
Alex said “Steve, can I please have your auto swinging sword?”
The trainer said “No! You aren’t allowed to use them in this battle.”
Alex sighed and said “Can I have your enchanted diamond coated netherite sword?”
Steve pulled the sword out of his inventory and handed it over to Alex. Alex equipped her armor and then said “Ready.”
Steve said “Here’s one health potion. Use it if you need it. Good luck. Remember my legacy and favorite award are on the line”
Alex said “I’m ready”
The trainer ran at her and she blocked the hit with her sword. She then double attacked.
The trainer threw a potion of wither at Alex.
Alex then was at one point of health. The trainer was fast approaching her and then she remembered her healing potion and drank it and killed the trainer.
The trainer respawned and said “Fine you get to keep both the legacy and the award.
The trainer then threw the award at Steve. The award hit the ground and shattered.
Steve began to cry as hard as he could and picked up the 50 shards of the award and brought them inside.
He brought the shards to his room and wailed “I would do anything to get the award back to normal.”
Sunny then came in and said “Why is your most prized PvP w=award shattered in front of you?”
Alex then came in and said “Sunny! Get out! I have to talk to Steve with Zuri, okay?”
Sunny left and Zuri entered.
Zuri said “I’m sorry about your award. If the council can repair it, I’ll pay for it myself.”
Steve sighed and said “This is one of the only awards the council can’t fix”
Zuri said “Worth a try?”
Steve nodded and said “They’ll come by tomorrow. I can ask then”
The next day, the council came by early and Steve was waiting in the living room with the shards.
Alex let the council in and said “Zuri is still sleeping. Steve wants you to repair the golden diamond studded sword award.”
The council said “We can repair that. It’ll just take all day and be really expensive”
Steve showed the shards to the council and the council said “Steve! If this is how you treat your PvP awards, we’ll have to take all of them.”
Steve said “Okay. But, I would never break one of my own awards! Zuri’s trainer threw it and it broke!”
The council said “Steve, you’re just making things worse! You’re supposed to let only family and close friends and repair people touch your PvP awards. We’re afraid we’ll have to take all of them away!”
Zuri then came down and saw Steve crying and said “Steve? What’s wrong?”
“I will have to give up my awards. I won’t be able to do the ceremony today. You can still have it happen. I just won’t be there.”
The council said “Okay, time to give them up. Unless you have a reason for letting her touch it.”
Zuri said “Can I?”
Steve said “Yeah”
Zuri said “He didn’t let my trainer touch them. His trainer just grabbed the most valuable looking one and took it from his room and then there were battles to see who gets it. Steve won the battles and my trainer was so mad, they threw it at an obsidian flat in our backyard.”
The council said “Okay. Alex, is the story true?”
Alex sighed and said “Steve, I’m sorry. I’m doing the right thing and telling the truth. The story is not true.”
Steve glared at Alex and said “Out of my house! Find someone else to live with! This relationship is done!”
The council said “If he willingly let them touch the award, he has to spend the rest of his miserable life in the starvation pit!”
Alex said “Actually the truth is the trainer threatened to kill Steve in hardcore unless he let her hold the award and Steve didn’t want that so, he let her hold it.”
The council said “Alright, Zuri, is that true?”
Zuri said “Steve, I’m sorry, I have to do what I know is right. He willingly let her touch it.”
Steve said “Go ahead take me to the starvation pit. I’ll at least not have to live like this anymore.”
A member of the council said “I think we can let this slide.”
The rest of the council said “Yeah. If you let anyone else touch any of them again, you will be sent to the silverfish pit in hardcore!”
Steve said “Okay”
The council then started to repair it,
Eight hours later, they were done.
Steve picked it up and carefully brought it back to his room and to his horror the rest of them were broken.
Steve said “Welp, I guess that’s it. I know they’ll come to this room and then they’ll see my awards”
Then the council came up to Steve’s room and Steve opened the door glumly and said “Go ahead take me to the pit of silverfish”
The council said “No! We got a much more severe punishment for legends like you!”
Steve said “Will I still be able to attend Zuri’s becoming a legend ceremony?”
The council said “If you do, you’ll never get one. It’s either attend her’s or have your own.”
Steve said “I’ll never forgive myself for this. I pick Zuri’s”
The council said “Okay, you’ll be sent to the status effect chamber for a month. You’ll go the day after the ceremony. Which will be tomorrow.”
Steve nodded and said “Okay. Will my family at least be able to visit me?”
“I’m sorry. You won’t even be able to have your phone, you won’t even be able to contact them.”
Alex then ran up and said “Steve?! What happened?!”
“I don’t know how these all got broken.”
The council said “Actually the ceremony is today. Say goodbye to your family Steve. You won’t see them for a month.”
Steve then ran downstairs and said “Zuri! Backyard.”
An hour later the ceremony started.
After the ceremony, Zuri said “Steve, you didn’t say anything when they asked if anyone wanted to say anything. Is anything wrong?”
Alex said “He’s going to have to leave us for a month to go to the local status effect chamber. We’re all not going to talk to him unless you get approval from me first. Do you understand that, kids?”
Steve said “I’m sorry Zuri, I just don’t want to talk right now.”
Alex said “Okay kids. It’s almost dinnertime.Steve, even though it’s your night to make dinner, I’ll do it for you” delicately as possible
Noor hen said “Hey Steve-”
Alex cut him off and said “Noor! What did I tell you about talking to him?”
“Tell you first. I just want to ask him while he’s gone, do we need to have the pork pasta with the milk sauce?”
Alex said “I’ll go ask him and report back to you.”
Alex came up to Steve and said “Steve, Noor would like to know if we’ll need to have that pasta we have every week while you’re gone.”
Steve said “Yes”
Alex said “Noor, he said yes”
Steve said “Zuri, I need to talk to you in my room.”
Zuri came up ro Steve’s room with Steve and said “Yeah?”
Steve said “You’re the youngest in the family to become a legend. I’m extremely proud of you. So, for a month, I won’t even be able to talk to you over the phone. Luckily, there’s now a younger more aggressive version of me willing to take my place. Hopefully you’ll get notified if you have to attend any major PvP games.”
The council then called and said “Steve, change of plans, you’ll have to come to the status effect chamber tonight. You think you can show up before 8:00?”
Steve said “Umm yeah. Sure.” and hung up.
Steve yelled “Alex! Change of plans, I have to show up by 8:00 tonight.”
Alex said “Well, we better get going.”
Alex rushed everyone out the door and got in the car.
Sunny said “Alex, why has Steve not talked a normal amount tonight?”
Alex said “Well… he has to go to the status effect chamber by 8:00 tonight. We’re taking him there now. He’s very angry and sad right now. So, please don’t talk to him.”
Then they arrived at the chamber.
Steve said “Bye for a month. I won’t be able to contact you for a month”
Everyone said “Goodbye. We’ll see you later.”
Then the council members said “Alright Steve. You said goodbye. Time to go inside.”
Steve handed Alex his phone and said “I’m ready”
The council pushed him inside and sealed it off
