Xander nodded and said “Steve, I hope you realize Minecraftnerd lives in this village.”
Steve said “I’m sorry I have to do this. Xander! You have to talk to Minecraftnerd with me!”
Xander nodded and said “I understand. You’re trying to protect yourself. I understand.”
Steve said “Show me to Minecraftnerd! I have to report you.”
Xander showed Steve to Minecraftnerd who said “Steve? Why are you here?”
Steve said “Xander took moves from many PvP legends. I asked him if there is anyone I could report it to who lives in this village and he said ‘yes’ . I reported him as soon as he did the last one. And he’s my friend so, you know I’m just doing my job.”
Minecraftnerd pulled Xander’s arms behind him and asked Steve to hold them.
Steve said “Xander, I have to do this.” and did what Minecraftnerd said.
Minecraftnerd led them both into her house and had them all sit at the table.
She said “Steve, you did the right thing. Now you have to answer some questions too. I just have to get my notebook” and left to get her notebook.
Steve said “Okay. Remember Xander tell the truth. BUT, if she asks did I try to protect you say no. Understood?”
He nods and says “Yes.”
Ten Minecraftnerd came back with a pen and a notebook. She sat down and said “Steve, how many legend’s special moves did he take?”
“46”
“46?! If thi is true, you’re both in serious trouble! Now Steve, did you help him come up with any other moves?”
Steve gulped and said “Yes.”
Minecraftnerd checked a box off that was helped come up.
Minecratnerd said “Now Xander, did Steve protect you?”
“No”
“Okay Steve, you aren’t in trouble but your friend here IS IN SERIOUS TROUBLE. You can pick his punishment. You can choose; No PvP ever again, a month in hardcore or a PvP battle against you in hardcore.”
Steve looked at Xander who was holding up one finger.
Steve said “banned from PvP.”
“Okay, I’ll take all his PvP stuff and give it to you and assume you’ll find a proper home for them.”
Xander wailed “Steve! Please! No!”
Steve said “Xander, the guilt will probably forever haunt me. You think I’m taking pleasure in this? Because I’m not!”
Xander said “You know what?! I’m not moving back to your village!”
“No!” Steve wailed
“Yes!”
Steve then realized there was no changing Xander’s mind so, he said “I understand. Can you at least visit every so often?”
“Fine! I’ll move back to your crummy village if you insist! BUT, we will NOT be having that potion of strength or milk with cookies and reminisce about the good ol’ days on your front porch.”
“For one my village is NOT crummy! It has over 125 villagers in it! And about the reminiscing, okay.”
“I was just kidding about your village being crummy! I never thought that! We’re still going to reminisce together.”
Steve sighed heavily and said “Minecraftnerd, you know how you just came to my house yesterday?”
“Yeah. I nearly got out of a job because of it!”
“Well…. The person who said was my identical twin” He sighed heavily and said “Xander, please don’t hate me for this. Was actually me.”
“I KNEW IT! Lying to someone of my rank is an offense that gets you sent to hardcore! But, since you turned in one of your friends, I’m going to let this slide!”
Steve said “Whew! I was worried.”
Minecrftnerd said “You are both dismissed! Steve, I’ll bring all of the supplies to you within a week.”
And Steve left the village.
When Steve got home, he put all the diamonds and emeralds in his storage chest. Then, he realized he had to set up for the event at his house that night.
He quickly set up everything. Just when he got done, people had arrived. Steve let them in.
He said “Hello, Welcome to my apology party. You are the first set. Dinner will be ready soon.”
And started to make dinner.
Alex entered the kitchen and said “Want some help?”
“No thanks.”
An hour later Steve ws done with dinner.
He yelled “Dinner!” and everyone rushed to the dining room.
Steve gave everyone their dinner. And everyone ate their dinner.
After everyone was done, Steve said “Alright! Everyone gather in the living room!”
Everyone rushed to the living room. Steve went over to the first book and opened it and put it on his lectern. He looked at the first page and saw it was Randall. He called him up and gave him his things back.
After everyone had gone, he said “Alright, everyone punch me if you want.”
Everyone said “Nah. You’ve already made it up to us.”
Steve said “Alright, that’s it! Bye!”
Everyone said “Bye!”
Some said “would you mind giving me a few bundles?”
Steve handed all those people five bundles. When the last one left, he breathed heavily and said “That took shockingly long”
Alex said “Tell me about it!”
Then Oliver said “Steve, I believe you’re forgetting some things”
Steve said “I gave you everything! Oh… You mean your awards?”
“Yeah”
“Come with me.”
Steve went to his room and was horrified to find it had been totally trashed. The only thing that was untouched was his dresser.
Steve said “No, no, no! This can’t be happening! Let me check my valuables!” and went over to his chest.
He found his chest was totally empty except for some sticks.
Oliver said “Steve! What happened here?!”
Steve yelled “Nothing dad!”
Oliver came over to Steve and said “Steve, I’m not your dad. I’m your announcer for your PvP games. Also, you never did tell me just what happened to your parents. I’m curious.”
Steve sighed heavily and said “Let’s talk about it with the villagers tomorrow.”
Kathy then came up and said “About what?”
“What happened to my parents.” and started to cry.
Alex comes up and says “Steve, I know this must be hard for you.”
Steve said “No, I knew I had to tell all of you at one point. Frankly, I’m relieved. I haven’t thought about them in years”
Everyone said “Steve, would you like to sleep at my place tonight?”
Steve said “No, I have guest bedrooms”
Steve then went to a guest room and slept the night.
The next morning when he got out of bed, he remembered what he had said he would tell everyone that day. But, he realized he had to face his inner demons at one point. He got ready to start the day. When he got outside, he started to sob. Alex led him to the center of the village and helped him sit down.
Alex said “Go ahead”
Steve took a deep breath and began. “So, I used to live in the extreme hills and one day I was playing with some of my friends that temporarily moved to hardcore. I was playing in the snow building snow golems. But, then I heard a loud scream and ran inside. The door was unlocked because I was outside. Anyways when I got in, I saw my parents being taken by creepers. The creepers took them away. I tried to save them but wasn't fast enough and they vanished out of sight never to be seen by me again.”
Carol said 'Why couldn’t they have used their swords?’
“Oh, I imagine they didn’t have the time to equip them.”
Everyone else said “Steve! You weren’t kidding, that story really is sad. Why didn’t you tell us earlier? We could’ve helped you through it.”
“There’s still time!”
“Not really. Remember deletion?”
“Oh yeah, Sorry.”
“It’s fine”
Steve then started to cry and said “Sadly that isn’t the whole story.”
Everyone said “What is the rest of it?!”
Steve sighed heavily and said “Two years later, there was a report on the news. The report was that both of them had been found in a cave… DEAD.”

A week and a half later, all the dinners were done and Steve’s house was pretty much bare.
The next morning, Steve began to sob on the floor with his head in his hands inside his cavernous house.
Alex came in and said “Steve, how about I make you dinner tonight?”
Steve looked up at Alex and nodded slowly.
Then he said “And lunch too?” weakly.
Alex said “Yes. If you want you can cry on me”
Steve said “No! I prefer crying onto my arm right now. And I want to be left alone for now.
Alex says “I understand. You can come to my house until you feel better.”
Steve got up and said “Okay. I would like it if you guided me though.”
Alex said “I wouldn’t have it any other way.” and guided Steve away from his house.
Steve said “Goodbye old girl. We’ve had a lot of great memories together but now I have to move, you being so empty and me being so poor now. I’ll tear you down in a few weeks so I can sell the land.”
Steve thought he heard his house say “Steve! I can still make you happy.”
Steve said “Come on Birtha, don’t make this harder than it already is!”
Alex said “Steve, it’s a house. It can’t talk”
Steve said “Goodbye. Old girl. I’ll take my remaining items out of you within the next few weeks.”
Alex slaps her forehead and says “Whatever Steve, stay here and have a conversation with an inanimate object or come home with me! I’ll only be staying here for three more seconds.”
Steve said “Talk to my house.” almost instantly.
Alex said “Now I will not make you dinner or lunch unless you get to my house in three minutes!” and left Steve.
Steve nodded and said “Bye. Old girl. We’ve had a lot of great memories together. I remember the first time I entered you… I was so young.”
Kathy then came over to Steve and said “Yeah and remember how Harry kept dropping the blocks on his feet?! That was HILARIOUS… Too bad he’s dead so we can never see it again.”
Steve glared at Kathy and said “Did you pick on him for doing that?!"
“No!”
“Good! Anyways, I remember when I- You know what? I’m just going to go to Alex’s”
Kathy said “Steve! You could keep your house up and just live with Alex until you recover.”
“Good idea” and headed to Alex’s
When he got there, he knocked on the door and Alex instantly answered,.
Steve said “Did I make it?”
Alex looks at the time and says “If you make it within three seconds!”
Steve rushed inside.
Alex said “Dang it! What would you like for lunch?”
“Umm… beetroot stew.”
“Okay, I’ll see what I can do!”
Alex then headed to the kitchen and started to make lunch.
Steve then remembered he had a meeting with the griefing and PvP councils. So, he went home.
When he got there, the councils were waiting outside.
Steve said”So sorry about the delay.”
The griefing council said “Steve! We can grief you!”
Steve said “I know. You may come in.”
Everyone came in.
Steve showed them to a cushioned area and said “I’m sorry. I had to give away my sofa and tables.”
The greifing council said “Steve, we want you to go on one last big grief. We know you used to be the most infamous greifer of all time.”
Steve said “No! I got out of that business when I was 13 and now I’m 45!”
The greifing council said “If you do, we promise to get you a new sofa, new tables and chairs and even a grand total of 9,000,000,000 diamonds and 4,500,000,000 emeralds.”
Steve then remembered how much people feared him when he was a greifer. So, he said “Tempting but no!”
The greifing council said “How about 50 times that?”
Steve rolled his eyes and said “What is it you want me to grief?”
“The very rare diamond, and emerald studded netherite chestplate with gold sleeves.”
Steve said “What!? That’s real?! I thought it was just a legend! Where is it?”
“The museum of armor”
Steve scratched his chin and said “Well… If I get caught, I will most definitely get sent to hardcore until deletion.”
Everyone in the greifing council looked at Steve shocked and said “Yeah we know. Lots of people have tried and failed. You have passed a LOT of security features.”
Steve said “Okay. Where sent?”
“Oh to the PvP headquarters. They will send it to us. Or you could just give it to us.”
Steve said “Okay fine! When would you like it given to them?”
“Oh within a week”
“I’ll see what I can do”
The greifing council said “Good!” and left.
The PvP council said “Steve. How do you feel about being invited to the last big PvP games ever? You do still have at least 50 trophies right?”
Steve said “Umm… sadly I only have 49”
The council said “Steven Stonecutter as of this moment you are hereby stripped of your rank of PvP legend.”
Steve bursted into tears and wailed “I worked so hard!”
The council said “You have to hand in your certificates for PvP legend!”
Steve went up to his room and grabbed all his PvP legend certificates.
Stee then realized he actually had 50.
He yelled from the top of the stairs “I actually have 55!”
The council said “Don’t bring your things down then. You’r still invited to the big games. BUT, so is Oliver Olivander.”
“Him?! He lost to me big time! And he has no in†erest in legend!”
“Well… Too bad! We visited him and he said he is interested”
Steve burrowed his face in his hands and said “Come on please uninvite him!”
“We thought you would be happy a new legend is joining the group and one you’re friends with too!”
“Yes. But, the thing is… I may have to battle him and yeah”
They said “Steve! He is middle ranked. You are top ranked. You will be competing against Minecraftnerd first round.”
Steve nods and says “I understand.”
“Good! And just curious, why did you agree to grief something for the greifing council and give it to us? We do NOT need more special armor!”
“Oh darn! I’m so in trouble. Either I’ll be sent to hardcore for the rest of my life or the griefing council will destroy everything I hold dear!”
“You should just not do it.”
“What about my village??! MY villagers?! My house?! Alex?! Her house?! Carol?! Her house?! And most importantly me!?”
“You, Alex and Carol will all respawn. We do have a safe zone in the extreme hills in the eventuality of the meeting hall getting destroyed.”
Steve said “Nah! I have a safe zone under my village.”
The council said “We’re so glad you gave up everything you greifed.”
Steve said “You knew?! And you still accepted me?! I thought the big griefers could never be PvP legends”
“Oh my gosh Steve! You’re right! As a matter of fact they aren’t even allowed to have their own battle arena! Hand in your certificates and give us the keys to your arena!”
Steve said “Just give me a few hours alone in my arena. I’ve got to reprogram it so the diamond doorway will work even if I’m not in it. I’ve also got to say goodbye.”
The PvP council said “Fine! But no more battles in it! You’ll have to find a friend’s arena to do it in from now on!”
“Deal.” and started to sob really loud.
Alex came in and said “Steve, I knew you would be in here! Steve, why are you crying? Who are these people? Is there any correlation?”
Steve said “I’m crying because the PvP council is making me give up my legacy AND my arena!”
Alex said “Oh are these the council?”
Steve nodded.
Alex said “You may stay with me until you feel better.”
Steve wailed “I wouldn’t mind if deletion were happening tomorrow!”
Alex said “Woah there! Steve! You do know what deletion means right?”
“Yes!”
Alex said “Excuse me PvP council, I’m Alex Alteris and why are you removing Steve’s status? You know his status as a PvP legend is everything to him. Right?”
The council said “You…You are Alex Alteris? As in Alex Alteris from Steve’s most famous battle?”
“Yup. Right Steve?”
Steve nodded.
The council said “We’re removing his rank because he just reminded us no greifer former or current can be a PvP legend or have a battle arena.”
Alex said “Who is he giving the arena to?”
“Us. And with no payment!”
Steve waile “Please at least pay me 50 diamonds and 25 emeralds!”
The council said “We’ll discuss while you’re gone at your arena for the last time.”
Steve said “I can assume I am uninvited from the big PvP games until deletion. Did I assume right?”
The council said “Actually, there is ONE special PvP game left for people like you. If you want to transfer to greifing based PvP the big game is in a month”
Steve said “No, I think I’ll pass. I’m past the age most legends retire at”
The council said “Steve, you will be getting your last interview in exactly two weeks. Understood? You have to tell them the whole reason why if they ask. Because if you tell the truth, we MAY partially reinstate you being a legend.”
Steve said “I always tell the truth for PvP interviews”
“Good because if we spot ONE lie… You will have no chance at being a legend again”
“I get it! I better get going. It’s going to be dark soon!”
And left. While Steve was on the way to his arena he found a diamond studded pet collar. Steve looked at it for the owner’s name but couldn't find it. He just took a picture of it and put lost diamond studded dog collar. Found right by village 45,000. Someone instantly posted mine. I’m in village 45,005.
Steve said “That’s out of my way but, whatever.”
He headed to the village only to find Oliver outside looking unhappy.
Steve ran up to Oliver and said “Oliver, are these your pets?”
“Yes!” and took it and invited Steve in.
Oliver asked “Steve, what are you doing out this late?”
“I was on my way to my battle arena for the last time. My days as Tristan are finally coming back to haunt me. I have to give it to the PvP council for perhaps NOTHING!”
“Oh dear! I can buy it for you and then sell it back to you for a small fee.”
Steve said “No! For one I’m pretty much BROKE and the PvP council wants it so I will never get it back. They’ll probably sell it to a PvP legend without an arena already. The only one I know is you.”
“Yeah. I’m the only one. I’ve done my research in preparation for the big games this year”
“Oh, you realize you have to have some skill for them. Now, where’s the bedroom?”
Oliver showed Steve to the guest room and Steve slept there all night.
Oliver woke Steve up the next morning. When Steve was up, he asked Oliver to show Steve to his arena. He got there in three hours
