About a year later, all the villagers respawned. Steve was outside adding flowers to his memory garden when it happened.
When he heard Kathy, he said “It’s just in my head! I know it is!”
Steve then turned around to see all his villagers.
He squealed with delight when he saw all his villagers.
All the villagers said “Steve?! Time has ravaged your once youthful looks!”
Steve said “Yeah.I missed you guys so much!”
“Same here!”
Kathy then came up to Steve and said “Steve, how about a whole village dinner?”
Steve said “I’ve moved past caring deeply about villagers! In fact, I’m moving away from all villages forever.”
“You're kidding!”
“Yeah I am”
Steve then said “Seriously, I’m taking a journey to the end in a few weeks… I may never return.”
Kathy said “Steve! No!”
“Yes!”
Xander then came up to Steve and said “Want to reminisce with me? I have to go to a greifer’s house.”
Steve then got a text from Oliver and it said dinner at 6:00 at Shiny Diamond Diner tonight.
Steve looked at the time and said “Not now, I’m afraid.”
“But there’s no other time!”
“Come with me!”
“Okay”
Steve and Xander went to the diner and Steve went in and said “Steven Stonecutter”
The hostess said “I see you brought a friend. Luckily we sat you at a table with one extra seat” and led Steve to a table with 25 other people.
Steve got a spot near the middle.
Everyone at the table (except Steve) said “No! Weirdo don’t sit there!” when Xander tried to sit down.
Xander said “Steve, why did you bring me here?!”
“Easy Xander, I wanted a friend here. That sits at the table I’m at instead of a whole lot of my enemies!”
“Oh”
Everyone else at the table said “Xander! Sit somewhere else!”
Steve said “Xander, go ahead sit where I am.”
Xander got up and switched places with Steve.
Almost everyone else at the table said “Dang it Steve! You’re too smart for us.”
The people who didn’t say that said “If he’s so smart, WHY THE HECK did he GREIF all of us and not feel any guilt?”
Xander said “Umm Steve, would you mind if I reminisced?”
“Not at all” everyone else at the table said.
Xander said “I remember when Steve was a weak, scrawny pile of slime.”
Steve said “Yeah. I used to be nothing but skin and bones. In fact I had to exercise for five hours a day the first year of having to do that I did redstone, then building. Once I moved out, I was greifing. Then after nearly getting caught and having to move for the tenth time, I transferred to my life passion… PvP.”
Xander said “You… you used to be a greifer?!”
“Yes!”
“I’m afraid I can’t be friends with a greifer past or present.”
“I was Tristan the greifer if that makes things any better.”
“That’s actually way worse!”
Then they all ordered their drinks.
When the waiter left, Xander said “Steve, I HATE to do this on our 59th friendaversary. BUT, I think it’s necessary. I’m not taking it as far as Oliver did though. I still want to hear you and see you. BUT, I’ll just unfriend you on social media. I won’t remove you from my contacts. It’ll just be our friendship ending. Understood?”
Steve began to cry. That was when the drinks came back.
Everyone ordered their meal.
After the waiter had left, Steve resumed his crying.
The person right next to Steve (even though he was Steve’s enemy) put his hand on Steve’s shoulder and said “Steve, I can find you a friend. You just have to attend some redstone classes.”
Steve nodded and said “I may run into my long lost friends from peaceful! They said at one point they would move within 75 chunks of me! And attend the redstone class that’s closest to where I live. Me being in my redstone phase when I last left them!”
Xander said “Steve, the last Friendaversary gift I’ll ever get you.”And handed Steve a box. “Open it when you will”
Steve nodded and said “I’ll open it the day before deletion… IF IT HAPPENS. I personally think it’ll happen to all the other modes first”
“Hardcore has been deleted. You do know that right? As well as all the adventure mode ones.”
“But, we’re still good right?”
“I’m sorry at this rate it’ll happen before you know it.”
“Maybe I’ll open it in a month. I’m sorry I forgot our friendaversary again.”
“We can’t even be distant friends anymore! We could've been if you have remembered this year!”
Steve said “Umm… I do have an elytra.”
“Ooh! I’ll be able to fly! ARe you sure you want me to have your most prized posession?”
“My most prized psession is probably the PvP resignation award. I did so well with resigning, the council mailed one to me!”
“I meant not related to PvP!”
“Then it’s my family quilt. 25 generations of patches. One from each mother and father. I sadly will never get to add a patch because we have to be a mother or father before we’re allowed to add a patch.”
Xander said “You could adopt!”
Steve said “Yeah!”
Then the meals arrived.
Everyone ate their meal. When the bill came, everyone looked at Steve and said “Steve, you’re paying!”
Seve paid and then everyone left.
Steve gulped and said “If it means that much to you that I get you a friendaversary gift, I’ll stop on my way home and get you something.”
“Nope! It’s too late! I’ve already unfriended you on social media.”
Steve said “Please? You always let it slide!”
“This time you’ve pushed the boat into water filled with guardians! Each time you forgot it added one more guardian to the water and this time it’s one too many!”
Steve began to cry and said “I’ll greif you! I’m transforming back into Tristan because of you!”
“But, then the PvP council will take back the resignation award they gave you!”
“So what?!I’m going to take my anger out on you! I have no arena anymore so, we’ll have to do this without an arena.”
“I know, I know! I challenge you to a PvP battle.”
“Yup”
“Give me a week to train!”
“I’ll see if anyone will let me use their arena. If nobody wants to after a week… I’ll just build a mini one and destroy it as soon as we’re done with it”
“Will there still be the prep rooms?”
“Yes BUT they’ll be wooden this time!!”
“Respawn room?”
“Yes!”
“Announcer and Announcer’s booth?”
“Nope. My announcer doesn’t want to hear my voice again!”
“The microphones to introduce ourselves?”
“Nope! That was controlled by the announcer.”
“The switch to make it full of obstacles?”
“Nope!”
“I accept your challenge Steve!”
Alex then called Steve and said “Steve! Where are you”?! I’m dying!”
Steve then rushed home with Xander and rushed upstairs to Alex.
Steve held Alex’s head up and said things like “You’re going to be alright” and “I’m here for you.”
He then pulled out a healing potion and handed it to Alex who slowly drank it. Alex suddenly healed.
Steve said “Oh my gosh! I’m so happy you made it.”
Alex slowly sat up and said ¨Steve? Get out! Oliver is coming over!¨
Steve said ¨No! He has to learn to face me!¨
Alex said ¨Steve! You don understand! Heś bringing the PvP council with him and said he would bring the PvP council and if you hadn’tw moved or at least started to, theyĺl eliminate you!¨
¨What could they possibly do to me to eliminate me?1 All they can do is add, remove and temporarily remove legendś names from the list, invite people to big PvP games for competitions and give out PvP awards!¨
¨Steve! Please? Just pack up your PvP awards and some other things and hide in the forest¨
¨No¨
¨Steve, Iḿ just trying to protect you! Please? Iḿ not asking you to move,just to get out of the village for a month or so. Okay?¨
Steve said Ökay. For you Iĺl do it.Steve packed up his necessities and left the village with only explaining what was going on to Kathy.
About a month later when Steve came back, he saw Oliver outside punching Kathy.
Steve ran up to Oliver and pushed him away.
Oliver looked confused and yelled “Ï thought I told Alex to tell you to move!¨
“Did you? Well she never told me that.”
Oliver yelled ¨Älex! I never want to hear your squeaky voice again!¨
Alex ran out and said ¨Steve?! To what do we owe the pleasure… I thought you had moved to Beacontoown!¨
Oliver said ¨Don't play dumb with me!”I know you just told him to leave for a month or so!”
Alex saud “I certainly did not do that!”
“Really?”
“Fine! I admit it! I told him to just leave the village for a month or so”
“I knew it. To my own personal starvation pit with you!”
Steve said “Why do you get one?”
“Oh… Legends have the option of getting one”
“I never got that option!”
“It just started last year”
“Oh.”
