Steve nodded and took Chip to the nearest hospital. On the way out the door, he grabbed a few books, his phone charger, a lot of clothes and his phone.
Once in the hospital the receptionist said “What’s wrong with this little villager?”
“Well…. He stabbed himself with a sharpness v sword and pushed the bit that broke off in too far for the medic to get it out. Can you please get it out?”
“Well……. We can try. But, it may not work.”
“Okay. How long will I have to stay here?”
“Well….. Today it’ll just be seeing if it’s removable and if possible removing it. For at least the next week, it’ll be recovering.”
Steve then called the PvP supplies store and said “Umm I won’t be able to go to work for at least a week.”
They said “Okay.”
And Steve hung up. The doctor took Chip to a room with a bed and a comfy chair.
The doctor said “I’m sorry Steve, you’ll have to sleep sitting up until you go home. You think you can do that?”
“Not really”
Chip said “Steve? Why do I have to be here?”
“You have an enchanted diamond so far in the that the medic can’t get it out.”
The doctor said “Chip, take off your clothes so we can see how far this diamond is.
Chip took off his clothes and put on the gown near him. The doctors lifted up the gown and said “Tsk tsk tsk. We can get this out but it’s expensive.”
“How expensive?”
“Well…. 500,000 diamonds”
“Got it.”
The doctors then said “It’ll take two and a half weeks to for him to recover”
“But…..I have to pay the store back for damage he did within two weeks or I’ll be banned forever!”
“You can call them if you want!”
Steve called the manager of the store and said “Umm I’m with Chip and he has to stay in the hospital for two and a half weeks Can how long I have get extended?>”
The manager said “Sure!”
“Thanks” and hung up the phone.
The doctors were taking Chip to get the diamond removed.
About an hour later Chip had returned.
Th doctors said “We have to take him to the recovery room”
Then they went to the recovery room and Chip got put in a bed.
Steve said “Welp, I guess I better start reading.”
Everyone else in the room then looked over at Steve and said “Steve?! Can you please sign the paper by my bed?”
Steve reached into his bag and pulled out his multicolored pen. He went around to all the people and signed the paper by their bed.
Steve then went back to the bed Chip was at and sat in the chair near the bed.
About five hours later, Steve got a call from Alex.
Alex was all panicked and she said “Steve! Big problem! You’ve got to get home right away!”
Steve said “Yeah, what is the problem?”
“Well……. One of the kids is going crazy.”
“What!? Is it Crystal?”
“Yes.”
“Oh dear! I’ll be right home!”
“Shouldn’t you be keeping an eye on Chip?”
“He’s been asleep for a half hour now. I think I can go safely.”
Steve then got up and went back to his car and went home. He ran in only to find Crystal running around jumping on everything.
Steve said “Crystal! Calm down!”
Crystal then ran over to Steve and knocked him down and jumped on him.
Steve said “Alright! Crystal! No tech privileges for you after I get home! Until I get home, you only get an hour a day”
Steve then lifted Crystal off him and went back to the hospital. By the time he got back, it was 10:00 and Chip was awake.
When Chip saw Steve, he asked for him to read a bedtime story.
Steve rolled his eyes and said “The most appropriate thing I have is an advanced guide to PvP and even that isn’t really appropriate for you.”
“Well then use your phone!”
Steve got onto his phone and opened a book called The adventures of sir creeps a lot.
Steve said “I hope this is appropriate. I’ve never read it before.” and started the recording. 30 minutes later Chip was asleep and Steve stopped the recording and went to sleep.
He didn’t sleep too soundly that night because he couldn’t lay down. The next morning, Chip woke up and asked “How did you sleep?”
Steve just groaned and said “Not too well at all”
Then the doctors came in and said “Alright, Breakfast everyone!”
Everyone hopped into their minechair and went to the cafeteria, Steve just followed everyone.
Chip saw what was for breakfast and puked on Steve.
Steve said “Please don’t do that again! Geez! Now I have to change.”
Chip said “Steve?! Don’t you have breakfast for me?”
“I’m sorry. I forgot to bring food”
Then Chip and Steve got their breakfast. As soon as Steve took a bite of it, he nearly puked it up. Chip puked all over Steve again. Steve thought Geez if this keeps up I won’t have enough clothes to last a week. Then they finished their breakfast and went back to their bed.
The doctor came in and said “Steven Stonecutter is that really you?”
“Yes it is. Why do you ask?”
“Take your stuff and come with me. If you are here with someone, take them.”
Steve packed all his stuff and picked up the bag and helped Chip out of the bed and followed the doctor. The doctor led them to a room with at least 100 double beds and a giant TV.
Steve said “Umm why did you show me this room?”
“This is now where you will be staying. Also, Chip, time for your physical therapy.”
Chip whined “How long will it be?”
“At least an hour and a half.”
“Then why did he get an enchanted diamond in him? More importantly so far we practically had to use an unbreaking sword to get it out!?”
“Umm uhh. The person watching him wasn’t doing a very good job and villagers kept pushing at it.”
The doctors said “Steven Sylvester Oliver Swapnil Stevenson Stonecutter! You need to watch Chip carefully for the rest of his life!”
“Okay fine. I’m sorry Chip. I’ll give you five hours on my computer in my room the day we get home or the day after….depending on the time we get back.”
Chip then left with the doctors. Steve turned on the news and layed down in the bed.
The news person said “Steven Stonecutter claims he loves villagers. But, he had to take a villager to the hospital for getting a giant hunk of diamond in him. He truly hates villagers more than Tristan the griefer! He was going to get a photo with all his village friends to be put in the world capital. But now that won’t happen. We’ll be interviewing Steve momentarily.”
Steve then got a phone call from the news station and picked it up.
“Hello.” he said
“Hello, So we heard you let a villager get a huge chunk of enchanted diamond in them.”
“It’s not my fault! Alex or Carol was supposed to be watching them. I was in my room finding old things from under my bed.”
“Any proof?”
“I can’t prove it now. But, when Chip gets back, I can.”
“Mmm hmm that’s all we needed to hear!”
“Will I still make it to the world capital?”
“Yes you will…. In a month you will be accepted into the PvP hall of fame as well…. Oh wait, I wasn't supposed to tell you that.”
Steve began to cry tears of joy and said “Someone must’ve paid back my debt”
Then Chip came back and said “Steve, can we please have lunch?”
“Sure”
Then they went to the lunchroom and lunch smelled decent. Tristan slipped on some water that was spilled and pulled Steve down with him. Steve slowly got up with Chip. Steve kept falling down until there was a giant rip in the back of his jeans.
Steve then ran back to the room with his stuff and looked for some jeans exactly like the ones he was wearing but found nothing.
Steve groaned and said “Great. Now I have no jeans like the ones I’m wearing and now I have one fewer outfit.” and sighed heavily.
Then a doctor came in and asked “Where’s Chip?”
“Chip? Oh he’s in the cafeteria.”
“So you just abandoned your kid there?! I’ll show you what we do to people like you!”
Then two more doctors came in and grabbed Steve’s arms. Steve was kicking and screaming as the doctors took him out of the room.
Then Chip came back into the room and said “I’m sure he would’ve been here… Guess this extra lunch is for me.” and slowly ate the lunch he had brought for Steve.
