Steve said “I can’t pick”
Alex and Carol both asked in a demanding voice “Which one of us?!”
“Well … I have known Carol for longer and she is more knowledgeable. But, Alex can visit me whenever because she lives in my village.”
Carol said :”Uhh Steve, didn't you villagers tell you I’m moving in the house on the other side of the village?”
“Well, my villagers didn’t know about you until today. Now let’s go to my house near here.”
Everyone headed to Steve’s house. The whole way there, Alex and Carol glared at Steve.
Once there, Alex and Carol pulled Steve to the kitchen table.
Carol yelled “You said I was your only girlfriend! You haven't seen me in-”
Alex cut her off by yelling “Steven! You said you loved no one else! I would rather take my chances with Archie then go out with you!”
Carol said “Yeah sugar-pie, I simply can’t live with you being in love with someone other than me!”
Steve asked “Are both of you breaking up with me?!”
Alex and Carol exchanged meaningful looks and said “Yes. We’re sorry Stevie honey. We can’t live with you being in love with someone else!”
Steve ran over to the bed and started to cry. Alex and Carol came over and sat on the bed.
Alex said “Steve, I’m sorry. You’ll always have your memories of us. Right?”
Hex looked at Alex sadly and said “Actually … tomorrow I’ll have to wipe his memory. So, he won’t try to do PvP again. Enjoy this Steve while you still can.”
Alex and Carol hugged Steve and said “Steve! We’ll lose your personality.”
Hex said “Actually if someone matters to him enough, his memory can’t be wiped of it!”
Steve said “Why even try?! I’ll always remember my PvP days!”
Everyone except Steve exchanged meaningful looks and said “Okay. We won’t try. BUT, Steve, I have to visit you every month to check on you. Deal?”
Steve nodded and said “Yes.”
Alex said “Carol, should we tell him?”
“Yes” Carol responded
Carol and Alex took a deep breath and said “We are siblings.”
Steve stopped crying purely out of confusion.
Alex asked “So which one do you love more?”
“I have known Carol longer-”
Alex and Carol cut Steve off and yelled “Which one do you love more?!”
“Why can’t I love both of you the same?!”
Alex and Carol exchanged meaningful looks and said “You can love both of us the same… IF you can’t pick.”
Steve responded “I actually love Carol more. I was just trying to spare Alex’s feelings.”
Alex went over to the bed and started to cry.
Hal came over and said “Alex, it isn’t the end of the world, there is always Minecraft dungeons Steve!”
Alex then stopped crying
Carol hugged Steve and said “Steve I can’t believe you are really done with PvP. I mean most PvP masters retire at 57. And you are only 15.”
Steve said “ I know, I know. I was planning on retiring at 79 too. But, that won’t happen now. I don’t want to think about it. I need my memory wiped!”
Alex said “No!”
Hex said “Alex, it’s his choice. Enjoy his personality on the last night you can. His memory will be wiped first thing when me and him are awake. I’ll wake everyone up for it though so you can say your goodbyes.”
By that time it was 9:00 and everyone was starving.
Hex said “Steve, can you please make dinner?”
Steve made pizza because that was all he had the ingredients for.
Everyone hated it. Even Steve! As soon as everyone had finished their slice everyone went to bed. Steve was a few low on beds. Steve had a few in his inventory. He just placed all the beds.
Everyone went to sleep.
