All te kids (except Zuri) said “We hate PvP and the classes you’re making us take aren’t helping!”
Steve sighed heavily and said “I guess my brother had no interest in it. I guess you all can stop taking the classes… IF you get into some oter kind of combat.”
Noor said “Steve, I was the one who got paint on the floor in he basement.”
Steve said “Even thoug I didn’t know it, I somehow knew it!”
Alex said “Bye!” and left wit all te kids
Once Steve had cleaned the paint, he went to the sofa and watched Tv.
The reporter said “Breaking news. All te glitches have been fixed.”
Steve jumped up and yelled “Yes!”
Then the council arrived. Steve answered the door and said “Hi, Zuri’s upstairs. I’ll get her.” and got Zuri.
Three hours later, training was over. Then Alex came home.
Steve said “Alex!? What took you so long? I was so worried!”
Alex said “A little crowded at te checkout” and chuckled nervously.
Kai said “Actually,, there was a creeper attack at te store and Alex volenteered to fix the store.”
Steve said “Oh my gosh! My speceal little sweetkins! Are you alright?”
Alex said “Yeah. Theses little monsters actually kept goofing off and running away.”
“Is it what you said or Kai?”
Makenna said “Steve, remember tomorrow is your anniversary!”
Steve sighed and put his hand on Alex’s shoulder and aid “Forgot again”
Alex said “I challenge you to a PvP battle! First one to die loses”
Steve said “I’m not a young agile PvP master anymore. All I have left are my tapes.”
Alex nodded and said “We are hereby broken up!”
All the kids' mouths dropped and they said “Steve! Just get her something!”
Steve said “I suppose I could give her something. Not really what she’d like but still.”
Alex said “Goodbye forever Steve. You can get together with Carol. I’ll get together with Oliver.” and stormed off.
Zuri said “Steve, It’s time to start dinner.”
Steve said “I’ve had a very rough day! Just leave me alone!”
Alex came down and said “I just called. We’ll be splitting up in a week.”
Steve gulped and started to cry.
Noor said “Hey Stove, I want to play a game with you.”
Steve looked at Noor confused and said “Yeah, maybe in a few days.”
Noor said “Now!”
Steve quickly made dinner and called everyone down to dinner.
Everyone rushed to the table.
The next day, Steve gave Alex the gift.
Alex said “Aww Steve, I actually did want this! A picture frame with a picture of all of us in it.”
Steve opened his gift only to find a new sword.
Steve said “Aww. But, I have quit PvP forever. And this is iron. You know perfectly well that I use netherite.”
“Look at the encryption”
Steve looked at it and saw it said Steve and Alex forever.
Steve began to cry when he saw that and said “Aww. Thanks. You do still love me!”
“I never stopped. Since your first battle I watched of yours I loved you. I moved to your village in hopes of getting to know you better and t worked.”
Steve said “That is sneaky and manipulative. Still love you.”
Alex then hugged Steve and Noor entered their room and said “Guys, I don’t feel too good.” and coughed.
Steve said “Both of us hate pranks! Stop trying to prank us” quite angrily.
Alex came over to Noor and said “Steve is just a little mad about a dream he had last night. Okay? I’ll help you.”
Steve then realized he had to wae the kids up for school.
He yelled “Kids! School!”
Alex said “Actually Steve, school is out for the day. Apparently there’s a massive outbreak of redstone fever at the school. School will not be back in session until the outbreak clears up.”
Steve yelled “Never mind kids! School is out for the foreseeable future!”
All the kids came in holding their stomachs and foreheads saying “We don’t feel too good.”
Steve said “For the last time! I hate pranks and so does your mother!” still angry
Alex said “He’s just mad about a dream he had last night”
Zuri came over to Steve and Alex blocked her path and said “Kids! Do not get anywhere near Steve! Redstone Fever is deadly to people his age and his build!”
Zuri backed away and said “Yeah, I think I have that. Sorry I forgot to tell you yesterday.”
“All good. I’ll take you to the doctor today”
“Which one?”
“Doctor York”
“We all hate him!”
“Aww you’re finally starting to hate things!”
Steve said “Yeah. Just to be safe, I’ll go with you. Also, I have to get my blood drawn there today”
Alex said “Aww honey, you don’t have to if you don’t want to.”
“Thanks.”
Alex then called the doctor and got an appointment for 9:30 and to;d the kids.
Steve nodded and said “Good! The exact time my bloodwork is!”
When they were at their appointment Alex found out that Noor and Zuri had redstone fever.
Steve said “Okay” and they all went back to their car.
Steve said “So Alex, I know I’ve said this nearly 100 times. But, I love you.”
Alex said “Yeah yeah. You just have to eat more salt.”
“What?!”
“I got your results back and unless your eat more salt… it could lead to early death”
“Okay”
Noor said “Excuse me Steve, I have to puke”
Steve said “just do it onto the floor.”
Alex said “Oh no you don’t! If you do, you’ll both be in serious trouble! Just do it on the road” and pulled over.
Noor got out and vomited. Steve said “Go! Go! Go!” while Noor was still out.
Alex slapped Steve across the face and yelled “We are not abandoning one of our kids here!”
When Noor got in, they continued home.
Once home, Zuri puked on Steve’s lawn.
Steve saw this and instantly left the car and led Zuri inside.
Steve sat down with Zuri and said “Zuri, I’m aware you have your first ever one on one PvP battle in two days. But, I think you should cancel.”
“But why?! I thought you wanted me to do this!”
“I do. I’m just trying to protect the opponent and you. Trust me on this, you do not want to do PvP when you’re sick.”
“How do you know?”
“I’ve done a few battles while I was sick back in my glory days.”
Sunny then yelled “Steve! I need some bread!”
Steve quickly made some bread and went upstairs and gave it to Sunnt.
Steve then went back downstairs and said “Trust me, your PvP skills are seriously impacted when you are ill”
Zuri said “No! I’m not going to listen to yu unless you can prove it!”
Steve said “Okay, I think I may have few tapes of me when I was sick when doing a battle.” and went over to where his tapes were stored only to find they were all out of order.
He grabbed one with a green blob on the label and said “Let me see.” and inserted it into the tape player.
Steve nodded when he knew it was one ofwhen he was sick.
Then all the kids came down and said “What are you doing Steve?”
Steve sighed and said “Trying to prove your PvP skill gets impacted while sick.”
“Oh. I thought you were watching something interesting.”
Steve then yelled “Go back to your rooms!”
Zuri got up and Steve said “Not you Zuri!”
Zuri at back down and after the video was over, Steve put in a tape of one of hiss battles when he wasn’t sick.
Zuri instantly said “Yeah? What if I want to lose?”
“You do know each loss goes on your PvP file. I’ve never seen mine.
Then the council came by holding a file Steve answered the door and said “Is that my PvP file?”
“Yes it is Steve. But, we’re here to do some training with Zuri”
“Zuri has redstone fever! I wouldn’t recommend that!”
The council then dropped the file into Steve’s arms and said “Too bad it’s every day.”
Zuri then said “Steve! I don’t want to train today!”
“Well, you have to. I’m sorry!”
The council said “We do have a standard fee if you want to stop the lessons for a specific amount of time. 500 diamonds a day.”
Steve paid them 3,500 diamonds and said “Now go! Stop pestering us!” and closed the door.
Steve then ran to the kitchen table and said “I can’t believe I finally get to look at my file!” and opened his file.
When he read the description of him, he screamed.
Alex came running and said “What is it?”
“Just my PvP file is so mean to me. It says I’m a needy, pushy, weird, dumb and flamboyant failure!”
“Why does it say you’re a failure? You made it to both halls of fame!”
“I know! It says I’m a failure because it took me over 40 years to make it to hall of fame?!”
Zuri then came in and said “Steve? You alright? I heard you getting mad at the PvP council.”
“Everything’s great” said Steve chuckling nervously.
Alex then looked at the file and said “Steven! You know you’re never supposed to look at your PvP file!”
“But, the council gave it to me!”
Then the council knocked on the door. Steve quickly answered it.
The council said “Steve, you are hereby removed from the PvP hall of fame and the legends list! Unless you can win a battle against your mother.”
Steve began to cry and said “I thought she was long dead!”
“Yeah… e did too until we were exploring a creeper cave and found your mother sitting there crying surrounded by a bunch of dead creepers.”
Steve said “Is my father alright? He was the one that I as more devistated about losing.”
“Yes. But, he’s in no condition to do PvP.”
Steve started to cry and said “Suddenly the world doesn’t seem so hard anymore.”
All the kids then came down and said “Steve? Will we get to meet or grandparents?!”
“Yeah. I’ll get to see my parents again”
The council said “Your battle will be at your old arena.”
Zuri said “Fine with me!”
Steve said “Zuri! Now isn’t the time!Sorry, when wil the battle be?”
“In two days”
Two days later, Steve was questioning if he should have mercy on his mother and let her win or let himself win”
Right before he left he grabbed his treasured memories box..
Once at the arena, Steve saw his mother and he ran towards her and she ran towards him.
When they hugged they said “Oh my gosh! It’s been so long! Thought you were gone!”
Steve then said “Mom? Where’s dad?”
“In the front ow of the audience”
“You get the diamond room”
“Wait?! What?! I thought that was your room!”
“Yeah. I want you to have it for this battle.”
Then the council made an announcement that said “Start!”
Steve and his mom ran to the respawn room and set their respawn points.
Steve won the battle.
When his mother respawned, Steve said “Hey, want to come live with me for your remaining years”
She said “Nah. Oh and Steve, I’m so very proud of you! The first legend in our family would be proud. In fact this time the entire audience was family members.”
Steve began to cry and said “Aww. How I missed your voice.”
His mother then saw the locket Steve had in his pocket and said “Aww Steve, you kept the gift we gave you just before we got taken away.”
Steve said “Yeah. Due to my recollection, you had it on you and when you were being taken you threw it into the snow right by me and yelled ‘keep this forever! We may or may not ever see each other again!”
The council said “Steve, you get to keep your legacy but, your mother’s legacy is not existent anymore”
Steve’s mother then grabbed the locket from Steve’s hand and crushed it.
She yelled “How could you?! As of now, I have no son!”
“Are you serious?”
“Yes!”
Steve then hugged his mom and said “I’ll never completely forget you now!” and took a quick picture with his phone.
His mother then dropped the broken locket to the ground and said “Go right ahead! Keep the broken locket to remind you you now have no mother or father!”
Steve’s dad then came to Steve and said “Aww my little boy? How’s it been?”
Steve said “I’m not a little boy anymore! I’m over 70! And look at what mom did to my locket you gave to me as you were being taken.”
Steve’s dad nodded and said “Kathrine? Why did you do it?”
“He ended my legacy! So, I broke his locket!”
Steve’s dad nodded and said “Listen Steve, I can fix it. You will just have to stay with us for a little.”
Steve said “No. Now that I know both of you are alright, I don’t need it.”
And put the broken locket back into his pocket and ran to Alex in tears.
He said “Any way to fix the locket that my mother broke?”
Alex nodded and said “Yes. I know some people. It won’t be free though.”
Steve said “Okay” then headed home
