A week later, Steve was entered in another battle. He went there prepared to win but when he got there, he saw the arena was a lot larger than any arena he had ever been in. Someone showed him to his prep room and five minutes later, the doors all slid open. Steve thought he was supposed to wait until his name was called, so he just stood at the doorway to his room. A minute later the arena started to spray weakness, wither, hunger and slowness effect in all the prep rooms and since Steve was still in his prep room, he got sprayed with all those effects. After he got affected, he knew he was supposed to come out. He ran out and then he began to feel extremely weak. He collapsed to the ground and then crawled to the respawn room on his belly. Five minutes after he got there, a disease cloud got sprayed in that room. He crawled out and tried to do PvP on his knees but kept getting almost stepped on. So, he slowly stood up and tried to do PvP but couldn’t even swing his sword.. When he got hit, he instantly collapsed and died. After he died everyone started to laugh at Steve and yell mocking things like “Not the real one” and “Loser”
When the battle was over, Steve got handed a last place ribbon and a sign that said “PvP license revoked forever. Steve started to cry when he read the sign.
Alex came to him and said “Steve, you can always PvP me at home”
Steve started to cry even harder and wailed “You really think it’s that simple Alex?!”
“Yeah. When I PvPed you when I was first in your village I didn’t need a license. “
“Yeah but, the rules are different for legends. Once their license is revoked all their PvP things INCLUDING THEIR ARMOR get taken away! And if they’re caught even doing sumo PvP they’re instantly put to DEATH by sword”
Alex nodded and said “I understand. Can’t you just hide your armor somewhere where they won’t look?”
“I’m afraid that'll make me be put to death by starvation or creepers… I think it’s creepers.”
“You could just hide one sword in a secret place”
“You just don’t get it do you?”
“Nope.”
“If I keep ANYTHING related to PvP except for an enchanting table possibly… that changes all the time… I’ll be put to death in one way or another! I thought I would never need to do that.”
A few weeks later, Alex said “Steve, can we adopt a kid?”
Steve who was laying down said “Alex, I’m too old and sick to have a kid now!”
Alex said “Oh yeah that last battle you did. You did not lose with grace. In fact you failed so badly the entire audience was laughing at you!”
“Were you?”
“No.”
Steve glared at Alex and said “Really? Then how come when you came out you were laughing?”
“Fine! I admit it! I was! I just told you I didn’t to spare your feelings.”
Steve said “Aww that’s sweet. But, I think I need you to care for me for the rest of my life. You think you can handle getting the money to get food on our plates by yourself?”
“Yes. What about that huge amount you got from the testing lab when we left?”
Steve shuddered and said “How many times do I have to say! Don’t mention the testing lab! And I may have to go back there unless you get out of here! Just move to another house in the village! Quickly before the council gets here!”
Then the council pulled up.
Steve burrowed his face in his hands and said “It’s too late. Just have an invisibility potion okay and yeah.”
Alex nodded and said “Steve, are you sure you can handle helping the council gather all your PvP things?”
“I have to. If I don’t… well…. That has only happened once and the person who did it had to get swallowed by the end dragon then when they got out they were thrown into the void! And I know those are the most painful deaths!”
“Okay Steve.”
Then the doorbell rang and Steve rushed down to get the door.
The council said “Steve! Here’s a list of everything you need to hand over to us. You’re allowed to keep ONE set of armor and ONE sword! Neither can be enchanted!”
Steve nodded and said “Netherite armor and netherite sword.”
“And to make sure you don’t enchant your armor, W’ll install a feature on all your anvils and enchanting tables so you NEVER enchant armor, bows or swords again!”
Alex then came downstairs and said “Steve. You okay? I didn't hear any screaming or crying so, I thought I should be worried”
Steve said “Guys, This is Alex. She’s-”
“Yeah we know”
“Alex! Do you want me to get in more trouble?”
Alex said “No, I’m just worried about you. You know what happened at your most recent PvP game!”
“Yeah my life got ruined because I got my PvP license revoked!”
“No! Your illness you got!”
The council said “Oh yeah the effects you got combined with the disease you got makes it so you’re permanently sick!”
Steve nodded and said “Any cure” and coughed.
“No. Except a very new and risky one where people go inside you and grab the disease”
“You can do that?!”
“Yes”
“Is there any risk of the people going in getting harmed?”
“Small”
“Okay. Then I want it..”
Alex says “Steve, would you like me to be one of the people who goes in or would you like me to stay out here and hold your hand in case you know.”
“I think you should be one of the ones who goes in. My villagers can help me by holding my hand in case.”
Alex nodded and said “Got it. I’ll help you find three others to go inside you with me. Any requests?”
“Oliver and Xander. They may help you but there’s no way they’ll help me.”
Alex nodded and said “And the redstone engineer that works with Minecraftnerd right?”\
“I want her to work the shrinker and the villager I want is Kathy”
“Got it!”
Carol then came in and said “Steve! I need you to come to Oliver with me! It’s urgent!”
“I’m sorry, he won’t be able to help you. Did you see his last game?”
“Yeah. He failed miserably. I mean cme on I knew people failed ay PvP but COME ON!”
Steve then started to cry and said “You know I’m right here!”
“Yeah”
Alex said “Her too?”
Steve nodded.
Alex said “Get Oliver he has to go inside Steve! And so do you!”
“Oh. Okay”
Xander and Oliver came in and said “Alex? You called?”
“Yes. All of you need to go inside of Steve.”
Everyone nodded and said “We’ll do it.”
Kathy then came in and said “Steve. Do I need to be concerned because of how many people are here?”
“No”
Then the engineer popped into Steve’s house and said “Everyone get in the vessel.”
Steve said “Katthy, You’re staying with me.”
Everyone then got aboard. The PvP council said”Okay, we'll get on and then we’ll be ready to go”. And climbed aboard the vessel.
The engineer shrunk down the vessel and put it in a honey bottle and instructed Steve to drink the honey. Steve followed the instructions. As soon as he finished Kathy started to hold his hand.
