Steve called Kathy and said “I may not be home for a few months, possibly years, if I’m not back within five years, mourn me. Got it?”
Kathy asked “Where are you going?!”
“Herobrine’s fortress or house or castle or whatever he lives in”
Kathy dropped her jaw and said “Are you sure that’s wise? I mean I’ve read he had a grinder that kills everything. There are three layers, each moves faster than the last.”
“It’s for love. I’m sure if Bob ever got in danger you would do the same.”
Kathy hesitated before she said “I guess I would. Can’t you at least come to the village one last time before you possibly die?”
Steve said “Sure. Gather all the villagers in the center of the village.”
“You got it Steve! Bye.” and hung up.
Steve then teleported to his taiga village house and went to the center of the village. All the villagers were in the center of the village holding gifts. When they saw Steve, they all lined up and gave Steve their gift.
Steve gratefully accepted all of them. When Tristan was up, Tristan gave Steve a PvP award. Steve saw it had Tristan’s name engraved into it.
Steve said “I’m sorry Tristan. I just can not accept this. You earned it and I can’t take that away from you.”
Tristan ran away in tears.
Kathy said “Steve, I have a book of all the traps in Herobrine’s lair”
Steve gratefully accepted.
After everyone had given Steve their gifts, Steve said “Now, I have to go. I'll call Kathy when I’m heading back home.”
All the villagers said “Please stay for a few more days. We need a protector.”
“To be honest I’m not sure if I’m the best protector.”
“At least build a few iron golems”
Steve ran into his house and gathered the materials to build five iron golems. He ran out and built the iron golems.
Steve said “Goodbye friends!”
All the villagers said “Goodbye. Be careful out there.”
Then one villager ran out and gave Steve some maps.
They were of the fortress and how to get there from his desert village house (which he had no idea how the villagers knew where it was).
Steve then went into his house and gathered food, potions, PvP tools , bones and iron golem building supplies. He then teleported to his desert village house and told Carol to get into the car.
They got into the car and began their adventure.
On the way out of the village a kid ran in front of the car. Steve didn’t stop the car on time and hit the kid. Steve backed the car up and got out. All the villagers were glaring at Steve.
Steve sighed and said “I’ll pay for it”
All the villagers said “Not good enough!”
“What will I have to do?”
“Stay with them while they recover”
Steve hesitantly said “But, Alex is in trouble!”
All the villagers said “But Alex is in trouble” mockingly.
Steve then got a call from Alex. Steve picked it up and said “Herobrine is holding me in his fortress. This is the only call I can make for a long time. I only have 75 more seconds to talk to you. I just want to tell you to SAVE ME!”
Steve said “Here’s the thing, a villager ran in front of my car and I couldn’t stop on time and the other villagers say the only way for them to forgive me is stay with the villager while he recovers”
Alex said “Okay. I guess it’s over for me!”
Steve then said “Alex, I’ll be there as soon as I can.”
“Okay. Time’s up so goodbye.”
Steve gulped and said “I guess I have no other choice. I’m staying here. I only hope Alex can hold out a little longer.”
Carol then came out and said “Steve! What’s taking so long? We have to save Alex from Herobrine”
All the villagers looked at Steve alarmed and said “”Okay. You don’t have to stay until Billy recovers.”
Steve said “Oh my gosh! Billy?! I hit Billy?!”
“Yes.”
“Oh dear. Dear dear dear dear. Billy is my favorite villager.”
Steve had a difficult decision to make. Should he stay with Billy or go save Alex?
Steve said “I better call Kathy.”
Steve called Kathy and said “So, about my plans. I have to put them on hold for a few weeks. Possibly months.”
Kathy said “Why is that? Never mind. You most likely have a perfectly logical explanation.”
“I do.” and hung up
All the villagers said “Well, are you just going to stand there!? Or are you going to help carry Billy inside?!”
Steve lifted up Billy and took him inside a nearby house.
Steve put him on the couch. Steve said “Anything you want?”
Billy groaned “Perhaps some pork chops.”
Steve made some pork chops for Billy. Billy devoured them.
Six months later when Steve just entered the house, Billy got up, started laughing really hard and said “I got you good Steve! You did hit me but I had like five pillows under my clothes!”
Steve was bright red and was gritting his teeth at that time. ‘He yelled “YOU CAUSED ME TO POSSIBLY MISS ALEX’S LAST MOMENTS ON EARTH! YOU ARE NOW MY LEAST FAVORITE THING!”
“Even lower than endermen?!”
“YES!!”
And began to mutter “I can’t believe I fell for it.” repetitively and stormed off.
Billy followed him to his car and got in. Steve was so embarrassed, he didn’t notice Billy get in.
After about two weeks, Billy asked “Are we there yet?”
Steve turned around and said “You’re in here?! Oh great! I’ll have to watch you, me and Carol. Me and Carol are enough. Not to mention your parents are probably worried sick about you. I guess I’ll just have to turn back and return you to your village where you’ll be lovingly cared for. And it’s too bad because we were almost there!”
Billy said “I’m so sorry about that Steve. By the way…” he trailed off
“What is it Billy?”
“I actually have no parents… they were killed in the prophecy. I just wanted someone like a parent again! Don’t yell at me please!”
“It’s fine. I totally understand. I also have no parents. They were taken by creepers at night when I was just a toddler. And my guardians abandoned me when I was able to cook, mine and craft”
Billy said “You’ve been through so much more than I have. I at least remember what my parents look like and you most likely don’t”
Steve began to sob and said “I have a locket back at home with their pictures in it. But other than that and them being taken by creepers when I was a toddler, I remember nothing”
Carol said “Steve. It’s time to make basecamp here for the night”
Billy asked “May I please eat?”
Steve said “I really only packed the food for two.”
Then Billy’s stomach growled really loudly.
Steve said “I guess I could forego eating for the next few days”
Billy said “Thank you Steve, you truly have a noble heart”
Carol said “Steve, you really think that’s wise?”
Steve nodded.
Billy then said “Steve, can you please help me go to sleep tonight? I’ve had to sleep in here for the last two weeks and it’s very uncomfortable.”
Steve said “You can sleep in my bed… Although I’ll probably regret it later”
Carol said “I have a bed with me. You can sleep in your bed.”
Billy said “Can I please help you build your temporary shelter?”
Steve looked at Billy and said “I’m sorry no. You could help by…’ he trailed off
“I knew you would say no.”
Steve stopped the car and asked everyone to get out. After Billy got out, Steve had a horrible vision. His lover; Alex, was a giant.
Steve screamed.
Carol asked, “What’s wrong?”
“I had a vision Alex was giant”
Billy said “Can I please help build the house?”
Steve said “You can help by cheering us on.”
Billy said “I want to help you build!”
Steve said “No!”
Then the sun started to kiss the horizon. Carol and Steve built the house. Once done, it was nighttime.
Steve said “Billy! Come inside!”
“No! You didn’t let me help build it!”
“Okay how about next time?”
“You promise?”
Steve gulped nervously and said “Yes”
“Yay” and ran inside the house at top speed.Steve and Carol followed close behind. When they entered Steve ws mortified to find Billy getting attacked by a skeleton.
Steve yelled “Billy! Get away!” but it was too late. Billy fell to the floor….dead.
Steve ran over to Billy and said “I guess we better turn back. Tomorrow we’ll head back.”
Carol said “I do have the plans for a portable respawner”
Steve yelled “We don't have that kind of time! As a matter of fact…I’m not sure if we have the time to go back now!”
Carol said “Yeah you’re right.”
Steve then realized he caused the death of a villager. He started to cry almost as hard as he could.
Steve wailed “I can’t believe I caused this!” and cried even harder.
Carol said “It’s fine Steve.”
“”No It isn’t” wailed Steve
“Why not?”
“No villager will trust me again!”
Then Steve lifted up Billy and put him in the car. He quickly took down the house and got in the car with Carol.
The whole way back Carol comforted Steve. But, nothing she said seemed to work. When they got back to the village, all the villagers gathered around Steve and asked “Did you save her?”
Steve hung his head and said “No. I have some bad news to break to you. I just hope you can still trust me.” he gulped nervously and tugged his collar. He took Billy out of the car.
All the villagers gasped.
Steve said “Billy snuck in and I didn’t realize he was in the car until two weeks after we left. He asked to help build the house and I said no. After we were done building the house, he refused to enter the house and when I said he could help us the next night, he rushed in and there was a skeleton in there and I can assume you know the rest.”
All the villagers said “We’re afraid you have to never come back to the village!”
Steve fell to his knees and began to cry.
Carol said “Come on. We’ve still got to save her.”
Steve nodded, sniffled and got up..
He said “You’re right” and got back in the car.
Just before he left one of the villagers said “You may return up to ten more times. The only thing is you can’t stay for more than two hours each time. That includes packing all your things”
Steve nodded sadly and said “At least I can come back here.”
Another villager said “We really don’t want to do this but we have to.”
Carol said “Guys. Please stop it. He is very emotional right now!”
All the villagers said “Time will start in one minute.”
Steve sped out of the village so it wouldn’t cut into the amount of visits he could have.
A few days later, he got a call from Kathy. Kathy said “Steve! How’s it going?!”
Steve said “I’m sorry I just got banned from my other village. I can only visit ten more times and each of those times can only be two hours or less.”
“Wait!? You have another village?!”
“Yes. Also….. A villager from my other village died of skeleton arrows under my watch.”
“Oh dear! Is that why you’re pretty much banned?”
“Yes”
“It’s okay, I'll keep it a secret for you. Although most villagers aren’t the best at keeping secrets like this.”
Then Tristan yelled “Mom! Steve’s on TV!”
Bob yelled “They’re going to be talking about Steve on the radio!”
Steve said “Oh. But….it’s still over a year before my ten year anniversary of making it to the PvP hall of fame and they always do an in person interview every five years and they aren’t here. Better listen.to see what it is. What channel is it on?”
Kathy said “Oh 102.1”
Steve said “Hmm very interesting that isn’t the PvP news station. I think that’s the villager station” and turned to 102.1.
The reporter said “Steven Stonecutter claims he loves villagers but recently he caused his favorite villager to die by skeleton arrows. We all know what this means…He actually HATES villagers. So villagers, if you see Steven Stonecutter in your village, lock your doors and windows and whatever you do don’t let him in your house no matter how hard he begs because he may just let a hostile mob destroy you or a loved one!”
Steve said “Oh great” sarcastically “Now I’ll be hated by all the villagers in the world.”
Then Steve saw a villager holding a radio by the side of the road. Steve stopped for them. The villager got in before realizing that he had gotten into a car with Steve.
The villager said “I’m looking for a new village. I was outcasted from my old village.”
“Oh any specific type?”
“Taiga or coastal”
Steve said “There’s a coastal village up ahead”
The villager said “Hey, would you mind telling me if you made it to the PvP hall of fame?”
Steve gulped nervously and said “Yes. What a weird question”
“Are you Steven Stonecutter?”
Steve thought oh darn I’m going to get found out.
Steve said “Umm how about we listen to the radio?”
“Okay. BUT, when we get there you have to tell me if you’re Steven Stonecutter”
Five minutes later they arrived at the village. Steve gulped and said “Yes. I am Steven Stonecutter.”
“”What?! ATTENTION VILLAGERS STEVEN STONECUTTER IS IN THE VILLAGE!”
All the villagers ran inside the nearest house not caring whose house it was.
The villager Steve gave a ride to was snatched into the nearest house.
Steve said “Oh great. Now people may abandon every village I go to.”
Steve then got back in the car and said “I’m worried Carol. The reason is every village I pass through the villagers will run into their homes in terror or even worse abandon it.” and sighed extremely heavily.
Carol said “Would you like me to drive for you so you can think?”
Steve nodded unsurely. Carol and Steve switched places.
Until sunset Steve thought how could he have been so dumb. When the sun set, they were just outside a village. Carol stopped the car and told Steve to get out.
Steve said “I think I should just sleep in here tonight.”
Carol looked at Steve alarmed and said “Are you sure? Remember Billy said it wa extremely uncomfortable”
“Don’t you DARE mention Billy!”
“Fine! At least give me the supplies for me to build a house”
“No! You will sleep in here with me!”
Carol rolled her eyes and said “Okay”
