On the last day of school, Steve started to cry and said “Kids, me and your mother are taking a permanent break.”
Sunny said “Who will we be staying with?”
“You get to pick. Now, don’t tell your friends about this.”
Sunny said “Please give each other one more chance!”
Alex said “No! I can’t risk another heartbreak!”
Steve said “Whatever you saw me and Carol doing, it’s over!”
Steve nodded and ran up to his room and said “Why did I lie to her?!”
Alex then came up and said “I just called her. She said it’s not over! You're continueing the weekly battles"
Steve said “Alex! Give me one more chance. That’s all I need!”
Alex said “Well… Okay. If you use it up… it’s over and just as a warning… arguing with me about it being your night to make dinner will use it up.”
Steve nodded and said “We may need a counselor”
Alex said “We tried every counselor we can afford because of Noor’s camp… we can’t afford any of the good ones!”
Noor said “I’m sorry! How many times do I have to say that?!”
Steve said “Noor, it isn’t your fault”
Noor said “Steve, are you proud of my grades for my PvP class?”
“Let me see your report card when you get home!”
Sunny said “Steve, are you proud of my grades for my PvP class?”

Kai said “Steve, are you proud of my grades for my PvP class?”

Efe said “Steve, are you proud of my grades for my PvP class?”

Makenna said “Steve, are you proud of my grades for my PvP class?”

Ari said “Steve, are you proud of my grades for my PvP class?”

Zuri said “Steve, are you proud of my grades for my PvP class?”
“Let me see your report card when you get home!”
Alex said “Don’t worry guys, Steve will not do anything to you.”
Steve nodded and said “Yeah sure”
When the kids got home, Steve looked at the report cards and said “Tsk, tsk tsk tsk. You got a D- in your PvP classes… Except for you Zuri. You got an A”
Zuri said “Yeah! I paid this kid for the answer keys to all the tests.”
Alex looked alarmed and said “Zuri! We don’t do that!”
Zuri said “Geez! I was just kidding! I actually paid a kid to be my tutor. And by the way, you owe the company 5,000 diamonds.”
Steve nodded and said “Just wondering, what’s wrong with my style I use to help you study?”
“Doing a 60 question worksheet at once and then being yelled at for 15 minutes for every question we get wrong isn’t really my learning style.”
Steve said “Great job! You only have to take two more years of PvP classes. The rst of the kids have to take three.”
All the kids said “Steve! You promised only three years!”
Alex said “what did they get in mob combat?”
“Oh… All of them got C+”
Alex said “That’s not too bad.”
Noor hadn’t shown Steve his report card until he specifically asked for it.
When Steve asked for it, Noor reluctantly gave it to Steve and Steve looked at it.
Steve said “Noor! You’re in serious trouble! You failed PvP!?”
“How did he do in adventuring?”
“Failed”
“Math?”
“Failed.”
“He seriously needs a tutor.”
Zuri said “The company I use is top rated. You could pay the debt to the company so they’ll help our family again.”
Steve said “You got the tutor, you pay it off!”
Alex said “Zuri, I will pay it off. What’s their address?”
“123 Diamond way”
“Got it.”
Alex then said “Noor, I want to get a tutor for you”
Alex then called the company and said “Excuse me, This is Alex Stonecutter. “
The person on the other end said “From village 5,000?”
“Yes I live in village 5,000”
“Well… We’re dropping you as clients unless you pay us back next time we come over. Which will be tomorrow. Wait…. Zuri comes to us! Next time she comes here you have to pay us back”
Alex said “Okay. 5,000 diamonds right?”
“Yes”
“Okay, can you come here tomorrow? School has let out for the year for us.”
“School has let out? Then we need an extra 500 diamonds.”
“Okay”
Noor said “Steve, can I please have a tutor?”
“No! I had to get by with no tutors at all! And trust me, I had a very hard time! All my friends had tutors.”
Steve sighed and said “What I wouldn’t give to be a carefre young schoolboy again.”
Noor said “Steve, I think I know why I did so bad in all my classes.” and sighed heavily “I have a girlfriend”
Alex said “A girlfriend?! Noor! That’s so wonderful! But remember our rules, no dating until high school.”
“Yeah. Noor! I am not fine with you from having a girlfriend yet!”
“Please?”
Steve says “Okay fine. We’ll have a day with her family in about a week.”
Noor looked at Alex who said “He just needs time to adjust”
The next week, Noor’s girlfriend’s family came over and Steve shook everyone’s hand and said “Welcome to our home!”
The father said “Hello Steve. Does Noor talk about my girl Lilian a lot?”
“Yeah. All he could talk about all week. I’m so sick of hearing about her!”
Alex said “Want to join us for tea in the kitchen?”
Steve said “No! I’ve got to keep a close eye on Lilian and Noor to make sure nothing happens between those two!”
Alex said “So sorry, Steve is a little stubborn and doesn’t want to let Noor have thisr”
The father said “Yeah. My wife didn’t want to come. I forced her into coming.”
Then a lady came in and said “Steve? I’ve loved you ever since you became a legend!”
Steve said “Gosh! That was a long time ago. I’d have to say over 50 years! In case you wanted to battle me…I don’t do that anymore. Zuri can, however.”
Alex said “No Steve! She’s just a kid!”
“Yeah and I’m over 70!”
“I guess. Maybe once.”
Zuri said “Steve? You’re actually letting me PvP someone?!” while jumping up and down.
Steve nodded.
Zuri said “I can’t believe this day is finally here!”
“Hey, haven’t I sent you to that PvP camp?”
“Yeah. I hated that because it was learning about the tactics NOT actually doing it.”
Steve said “Yeah…Now I remember. Let’s see if I remember how to get to my arena.”
Alex said “Just do it in the backyard”
Steve said “Come on. You’re always going to be my favorite”
“Yay! Can I please use your lucky sword?”
“Nope. You can craft and enchant your own. With help from me clearly. So, what type?”
“Netherite.”
“Good choice! Now enchantments?”
“Sharpness five, fire aspect two, knockback two and unbreaking five”
Steve said “Geez! You really know a lot about enchanting”
“Yeah. I read your advanced guide to PvP and remember those enchantments are the best.”
Steve said “Aww. How about this? We go out tonight and we pick somewhere YOU want to go”
“Thanks!”
Steve crafted the sword and enchanted it and handed it to Zuri.
All the other kids saw this and said “We want our own enchanted netherite sword too!”
“Well TOO BAD! You didn’t pass the PvP class. Zuri is the only one here that did!”
“Fine!”
Zuri said “Steve, I’m nervous. I forgot most of the things taught at PvP camp.”
“Don’t be. I was too before my first battle. Here’s my lucky armor enchanted with protection. It will be a little big on you.”
Zuri put the armor on and said “Steve, it’s a bit too big!”
Steve said “I see. You could craft your own but I’m not using any of my enchantment levels”
Zuri said “I’m good with this armor.”
“No! Armor that is too big is a serious safety risk. I had to attend so many talks about that before being a legend.”
Zuri quickly crafted some netherite armor and Steve said “Okay, ready…. Now go at ‘er!”
Zuri said “What if I die?”
“Oh… you'll respawn”
Zuri ran out to the backyard and then Steve ran out and said “Here’s some potions and lava.”
The mother said “Steve, are you sure you want to go through with this?”
“Yes. Now Zuri, are you sure you want to do this? There’s a chance you could die.”
Zuri nodded and said “I want to earn your respect. I know this is the only way.”
“Yeah…. I guess you’re right.”
“Are you okay with me watching you?”
“Yeah! I want to be a legend like you! And if you see me do it you can give me feedback”
Steve nodded and said “Let me set up a chair because I can’t stand still for whole battles anymore”
