Alex said “Who’s first?”
Steve` opened book one and said “Randall Randy. I stole his 500 diamonds.”
Steve looked up Randall Randy and saw he now lived in hardcore.
Steve said “Yeah… I don’t think I’ll be giving him his things back”
Alex says “Steven! Why not?”
“He lives in hardcore!”
“Oh. But, you said the guilt wouldn’t go away until you give it all back.”
“Yeah but I can’t as well be trapped in hardcore mode either now can I?”
“No”
Carol and Kathy said “Steve, if you do, we promise to accept you again.”
“I don’t want to be trapped in hardcore!”
Steve then looked at the next person who was his announcer.
Steve looked through all his books and saw he had greifed a total of 50,000 diamonds, 500 emeralds and 50 PvP awards from him.
Steve called Oliver and said “Hi Oliver, you know when someone griefed your things about 35 to 45 years ago?”
Oliver said “Yeah Steve, how do you know about this? I never told you. And I thought it was Tristan the infamous greifer. There was the infamous mark that Tristan always left every time I got greifed when Tristan was still around. I wonder what happened to him. I hope he’s rotting away in the fires of the nether in hardcore!”
Steve said “Yeah…I was Tristan. I’m sorry I never told you.”
“You?!... You were Tristan?!”
“Yes”
“But he stole a lot of PvP awards. And why would you need to grief PvP awards if you could easily earn them being a legend?”
“When I was Tristan, I wasn’t a legend at PvP in fact I thought I would never be one. That’s the reason I griefed them.”
“Oh. You realize I’m reporting you to the authorities right now. Right?”
“Oh no! Please stop! I’m returning everything I griefed to their rightful owner.”
Oliver said “And… reported! You will have everything you griefed back to their owner within a few months or years.”
Then there was a knock at Steve’s door. It was Minecraftnerd.
Steve said “Quick!” Someone hide me. I do NOT want to go to hardcore again! I don't want another beloved family member to die in my arms!”
Alex said “Steve, go to the basement and hide in a chest. I promise to close it if they decide to explore your house and get to the basement”
Then Kathy opened the door and Minecraftnerd said “Steven You are hereby sentenced to hardcore until you die or get deleted in four years.”
Steve knew he had to think of a lie and fast so, he said “I’m not actually Steve! I’m his identical twin!”
Minecraftnerd nodded and said “Yeah. Last time you saw me you said you only had one sibling and as we all know he died in hardcore.”
Steve looked at Alex hopefully and she said “He’s actually telling the truth”
Carol said “No he isn’t! He’s just lying to make it so he doesn’t have to be trapped in hardcore for the rest of his life!”
Minecraftnerd said ‘Come on Steve!”
Steve said “But… I was just about to start returning the items.”
Minecraftnerd said “Well… You do seem sincere. We’ll let it slide! BUT you have to return everything to everyone within a year and a half!”
Steve gulped and said “Deal”
Minecraftnerd left.
Alex said “Even the people in hardcore?”
“I assume so!”
THen Steve’s computer got a notification. Randall has moved back to normal.
Steve rushed to get the diamonds for him and Oliver and put them in separate shulker boxes.
Steve then packed up and headed off. He was dressed almost like he did when he was Tristan. All the villagers said “You’re leaving?! If you aren’t here it will destroy our civilization.”
Steve said “I thought you wanted me to go!”
“No! You should know by now whenever we say that,we’re kidding”
“Oh”
Steve then had an idea. He rushed back in and looked up, everyone he had greifed and saw they had their Email accounts as an option.
Steve then said “Okay, step one is done! Now for the extremely hard part… actually writing them.”
Steve wrote an email to everyone he had greifed. It took him a whole day. By the time he was done, he could barely keep his head up. Each of the emails had the same format which was Hello [name], I’m sorry I greifed your [item or items he greifed] on [date or dates he did it]. I was hoping you could take time out of your busy life and have dinner with me on [night when he could fit them]. I also want you to come over to give you your [what he greifed] back. Please arrive at 6:00 PM to village 5 ,000 Thank you for your time. I only hope you have forgiven me. Sincerely, Steven Stonecutter (Formerly Tristan). About a week later he started to get replies, most of them were angry with all caps messages but at the end they said yes. The rest were just yes.
Steve breathed heavily and said “Let me see who it is for the first time?”
He looked and saw it was the ones he had taken the most from.
Steve said “Okay let me see if I have enough.”
Alex said “Steve, would you like me to help you set up for this?”
“No! This is something I must do alone”
Steve then found he had just enough diamonds and emeralds for it.
Steve breathed heavily. Herobrine then teleported into Steve’s house and said “Steve, I’m done with Tristan, your precious villager. He’s WORTHLESS to me! I ask him for something and he gives me something entirely different. Here’s your precious skill back!” And snapped. Steve felt a tingle all over his body that he had never felt before. Steve picked up a sword and he immediately dropped it.
Steve yelled “What did you do to my strength?!”
“Oh… I took it in exchange for your skill back!”
Steve said “I would rather have no skill than no strength!”
“Is that forever because this time, I won’t give you your skill back!”
Steve said “Well…”
Alex says “Steve, you can get your skill back. He said it would take double the amount of time!”
“Here’s the thing Alex, it took me three years to make it to my current level.”
Herobrine said “And 3…2…1. Time! Your final choice is what?”
“Skill but no strength”
Alex said “He’s just kidding! He wants it the other way!”
Herobrine said “I’ll stick with how you currently are unless you decide in ten seconds”
Steve says “I choose…” he sighed heavily and said “Strength”
Herobrine said “That’s your final answer! You realize you could have had part of each!”
“You deliberately didn’t tell me that until it was too late! Well… I chose half of each.”
“Okay” and snapped.
Steve suddenly could lift his sword again and he said “Whew! At least I will have both!”
Herobrine then teleported away.
Steve then looked closely at all the responses to his Emails and saw Oliver still hadn;t responded. So, he decided to call Oliver and see why he hadn’t responded.
When Steve called, nobody picked up. He called again, still nothing. He called yet again, still nothing.
Steve then called one last time and Oliver picked up and said “Steven Stonecutter! You lied your way out of hardcore! You are NEVER going to give the items back! I just deleted your email you sent me!”
Just undelete it and read it please!”
“Nope!”
“Please?”
“Okay, FINE!” and looked at the email Steve had sent.
Oliver said “I’ll be there!” quite angrily.
Steve said “I’ll provide all the food.”
“Good! I wasn’t going to bring anything anyways!” and hung up.
Steve gulped and said “Do I really want to go through with this?”
Steve then got a notification on his phone that said someone in village 500 needs help with PvP. Payment is 100,000 diamonds and 25,000 emeralds an hour”
Steve said “Alex, would you please give all your PvP skill to me?”
Alex says “Steven! No! You have to do the training with your current skill level.”
Steve nodded and said “Okay. If I get removed I’ll come crying to you!”
“Okay”
And Steve left. When he got there, it was his former best friend Xander.
Steve said “Xander Baker?! Is that you?”
Xander said “Steven Stonecutter?! I haven’t seen you in over 25 years! How’s it going? I assume you’re still as good as you were or better than you were when I left your village. Am I right?”
“Actually… I’m a bit worse at it.”
“What happened?!”
“I made a deal with Herobrine to respawn Alex. Now I’m at half the PvP and strength level than I was before the deal.”
Xander said “Oh dear!”
Steve says “Let’s see what I'm working with here. I’ll equip my netherite armor and see”
Steve equipped his armor and beckoned for Xander to come at him. Xander sprinted at Steve from 25 blocks away and jumped.
Steve said “Umm That looks a lot like my special move! How many blocks do you back up?”
“25”
“You’ve got to get a new special move.”
“Why?”
“You’re going advanced aren’t you?”
“Yeah”
“Well…Using a PvP master’s special move or moves could get you in serious trouble. In fact nobody at all is allowed to… Not even beginners! In fact, whenever someone uses my move or any other master’s move, I’m supposed to report it immediately”
“Will you?”
“You didn’t let me finish! But, since you’re my best friend… or you were at one point I’m going to let this slide. Just tell NOBODY about this. Especially that no good Minecraftnerd!”
Xander nodded and said “I understand. In fact, I have 45 other special moves.”
All of them were legend’s moves.
Steve said “I have been saving one for a very special person. Equip your DIAMOND or NETHERITE armor, this will get rough”
Xander did that and Steve backed up ten blocks and said “Not sure if using swords distance is allowed. I’ll look it up.”
Steve put down his sword and pulled out his phone and looked up if swords being used distance was allowed. He found it was. He gave a thumbs up. Sadly a very young villager picked up the sword and swung it at Steve.
An adult instantly rushed to the kid and said “Steve! That is no way to treat Steve! We’re so sorry about that Steve. We promise to pay for the huge cut in your wrist.”
Steve looked at his wrist and saw there was a huge cut in it.
Steve picked up the sword and swung his arm five times and threw it at Xander’s chest. It hit.
Xander said “Geez Steve! That dealt 7 points of damage.”
Steve then said “Now practice on me!” I just have to equip my shield.”
He equipped his shield and Xander practiced for three and a half hours.
When done, Steve got paid.
Just before Steve left, Xander said “Steve, I’m moving back to your taiga village. Still live in village 5,000 right?”
“Yeah. You’re taking another chance even after you know… The villagers making fun of you until you moved out?”
Xander started to laugh and said “The villagers weren’t the problem if you remember correctly.”
“What was the problem?”
“It was the constant creeper and enderman attacks! Now that happens here, so I’m moving back.”
“Yay! Warning! Where your house once stood is now a mob farm”
“A MOB FARM?! I thought you would keep it up as it was my house.”
Steve said “Geez bro, I was just kidding. It has been updated a little though?’
“For one if you remember I hate being called bro! And how has it been updated?”
“Oh stone variants. And yeah I forgot you hate being called bro”
Xander said “Goodbye Steve. I’ll be rejoining your village in a month after that we’ll have a potion of strength or a milk and some cookies and reminisce about the good ol’ days”
Steve said “kay. See you then! Remember DO NOT tell ANYON I’m letting you showing a PvP legend the moves of other legends slide!”
“What exactly would happen ifI did?”
“Are you implying that you did?”
“No, just wondering”
“I could be stripped of my rank as a legend and or be sent to hardcore forever”
