Hey everyone!
I just wanted to share a really good show that I've been a fan of for about 4 and a half years now. Its called Ninjago, and it came out in 2011. Now I know perfectly well that its kind of stupid and childish to like a show this much, but I honestly have reasons to, and I reccomend you give it a watch. It gets better the more you watch, trust me xD.
This show was one of the first shows I got attached to as an 8 year old. Obviously, I was 8, so all the other things I watched were kind of...yknow. Childish and weird, like most kids shows are. I love how the show has such strong female characters, a trans main (hes not confirmed as trans but theres a LOT of good evidence that he is), and a really impressive plotline for a lego show. My favorite characters at the time were a pair of siblings, a boy and a girl. I was literally hyperfixated on these characters for absolutely no reason. I later realized that I didn't have a crush or a hyper fixation on these characters: I was experiencing gender envy. I wanted to be the boy so badly but I also loved the girl and wanted to be her too. Then there were times I wished I could be both.
The shows main premise is about a group of ninjas going on adventures and defeating evil together (it sounds stupid but IT IS SO GOOD). They were always doing all sorts of martial arts moves, and that's what got my little 8-9 year old brain interested in martial arts like Tae Kwon Do. I started Tae Kwon Do in early 2022, and it soothed my depression so much.
I could literally rant on and on about this show, but I want to keep this short and sweet so people don't get bored before they finish reading this. I really reccomend you watch it though, its very much a little kids show, but I am 12 right now and I still love it. Its one of those shows that's just so unique for no reason lol. All the seasons are on Netflix, but if you want to watch it for free and don't have Netflix, search up "Ninjago All seasons full Google drive" and it should pull up a Google Drive of some, if not all, of the seasons. Idk if KidzTube has any if the episodes, but I'll check after posting this and ket yall know. That's all I really wanted to say lol, bye googlies :D
