Two days before the romantic trip, Steve and Alex went shopping for things they would need like sunscreen. Alex bought a super cute hat for herself and said “Alright Steve, since you didn’t complain about shopping for clothes with me, you get to decide which friend will be the kids’ caretaker.”
Steve said “I think Kathy and Tristan”
“Got it.”
Steve and Alex then headed home and Steve said “Alrifght Tristan and Kathy. You have been the chosen ones.”
All the kids said”Where are you going?”
Zuri said “They’re moving away. We pulled Steve’s last nerve and he doesn’t want to live with us anymore.”
Steve said “No! Alex and I are going on a romantic vacation.”
All the kids said “We have boyfriends and girlfriends! We can come!”
Steve said “”Nope!”’
That night. Kathy and Tristan said “So, how long will you be out?”
Alex said “About two and a half weeks”
The next morning, Steve woke up at around 9:00.
Alex said “There we go sleepyhead”
Steve yawned and said “Welp, time to pack”
Steve got out his suitcase and started to pack.
When he was done, Alex said “Let me see if you got everything” and looked through the suitcase and nodded and saw Steve was missing his lucky sword.
Alex said “You sure you can handle it without your lucky sword?”
“Yeah. This is all about making me feel better. I don’t need it. Also, now it’s against the rules to take swords.”
Alex said “For legends too?”
“Fine, I’ll take it” and packed his lucky sword.
Then they all went downstairs and said “This is our last day as a family in two weeks. Where do you want to go today?”
Zuri said “There’s a big PvP fair that we could go to.”
Steve said “Maybe.”
“A PvP seminar?”
Steve said “Perfect.”
All the kids started to punch Zuri and Steve said “Get ready. There’s one nearby that starts in a half hour.
Alex then said “Steve, all them are ready{“
Steve rushed everyone out to the car and Alex took them to the seminar.
The one at the door said “Oh my gosh everyone! It’s the family of PvP! Steve is here with Alex and his kids!”
Alex said “So, could we be let in?”
“I’m sorry. This one you can’t get tickets at the door. But maybe nine people would let you guys in.”
Then a nice young couple came up to Steve and said “Excuse me Steve, we were just walking by an hoped you could be in a picture with us.”
Steve said “Well… Okay”
Steve got in a picture with them and Alex took the picture.
The mother said “Thanks so much. We bought nine extra tickets if you want to come in with us.
The one at the door said “Go on in guys.”
Steve ran to an available area wth 11 chairs and helped organise where everyone was seated.
Then the seminar started. Halfway through the seminar, Noor said “Srteve, I have to go to the restroom.”
Steve got up and led Noor to the restroom and five minutes later, Noor came out and said “There we go”
Steve rushed back to his seat and sat Noor down.
Two hours lantern\, the seminar was over and Steve said “Geez, chey didn’t need o say all that.”
Everyone then looked at Steve and said “Can we have a picture with you?”
Steve had to be in 100 pictures and then someone said “Hey Steve, they’re making a movie about your life. I’m playing you.”
Steve said “When will it be released?”
“In a few months.”
Then the one who spoke said “Steve, would you mind teaching my kid about PvP h doesn’t seem too interested.”
Steve said “So don’t make him learn about it!”
Then they all headed hom
Steve said “That was fun.”
Alex then started to make lunch and sat on the couch after lunch.
The kids said “Do we need that disgusting pork dish while you’re gone?”
Steve jumped up and said “Ok my gosh! We forgot a meal plan!”
Steve then wrote down a meal plan on a paper he had in his pocket.
Tristan nodded and said “Steve. No! We will not follow your meal plan!”
Alex said “I’m sorry guys, he’s just overprotective about routine.”
Zuri then said “Steve, when are you leaving tomorrow?”
Alex said “Honey, we’re leaving at 5:00. You’ll probably still be in bed. In fact, after you’re all asleep, we’ll disable your alarms!”
That night at dinner, they just had pizza.
Steve relaxed in his chair and said “Can’t wait till tomorrow.”
Alex shoved Steve and said “Tell them the rules.”
Steve read off a list of rules for while they were gone.
Tristan said “So Alex, can we text you if we have any questions?”
“Yeah”
Steve said “Excuse me?!”
They then looked at Steve and said “Forgot you were there” and laughed playfully
Steve said “Noor can be a little bit of a handful. Usually if you say you’ll take away his phone, he straightens out and does what he’s supposed to. Also, I want one of you to call me or Alex every night before the kids go to bed. I want to check in with them.”
Three hours later someone new came by the house. They knocked on the door and they looked like they had been walking for months.
Steve opened the door and said “Why are you out so late?”
The person hugged Steve and said “I got lost on my way home in village 500.”
Steve said “Woah! That’s way off! How old are you? What’s your name?”
“I’m Rana and I’m eight years old.”
Steve said “Oh my gosh! Your parents must be worried sick about you!”
Alex then came down in her pajamas and said “Who’s that Steve?”
“An eight year old girl named Rana. She got lost on her way home in village 4,000”
Alex said “Dear, dear dear. Have you slept at all since you got lost?”
“Nope. I miss my family. I haven't seen them in who knows how long!”
Steve said “Do you know either of your parent’s phone numbers?”
Rana said “Yeah my dad’s is 867-118-1263”
Steve quickly dialed that number and on the other end was someone crying.
Steve said “Hello, are you the parent of Rana… what’s your last name Rana?”
“Fernandez.”
The man said “Yeah. Pretty Much all hope of her coming home is now gone.”
Steve said “Well… we found her in village 5,000 where I live and umm yeah.”
The man said “Katherine! She’s alive! This kind man found her wandering his village and called me.”
Then Katherine said “Bring her home right now!”
Steve said “That’s what we’re going to do. Bye see you soon.”
Rana said “Can’t I at least stay for a few hours? I haven’t been inside in over two months!”
Steve reached outside and said “Man is it cold tonight. Better put on a coat.”
Alex said “Village 4,000?”
“Yeah”
Sunny then came over to Rana and said “You can have my coat”
Steve shrugged and put on his coat and left holding onto Rana.
