Alex was born into a family that really loved Elytra. Everybody admired her family. Like all legacies, she was a member of a huge family. She had 12 siblings. She hated elytra which she was judged incredibly harshly for. Her siblings all loved eytra. She had 5 brothers and 7 sisters.Alex longed for one thing, someone who understood her. This is the story of before Alex met Steve; her true love.
Alex was born on November 24 2024 to a family with seven other kids at the time. Her siblings were, Kathy, Carol, Oliver, Bob, Marcus, Gretta and Francine. When she was born it was in the middle of a huge year for Elytra. Nobody knew it yet but little Alex would change the Alteris family legacy forever.
Alex had just turned one. Her parents Barbra and Reggie were about to deliver the family some news.
Her mom said “Kids, as you all know… well… maybe not Alex. We have been in a long running feud with the Stonecutter family. Problem is, they just invited us to dinner at their place.”
Kathy said “Did you accept?! What did you do?”
“We declined”
Alex was just learning to speak at that time and she said “Mommy, what’s a feud?”
Reggie said “Oh sweetie we can’t really explain that.”
Barbra said “I know how, so Alex you know how you hate the neighbor’s dog?”
“Yes”
“Well… that’s sorta how we are with that family”
Gretta said “Why exactlyare we in a feud?”
“Lonegest running legacy.”
By then Alex was terrified of what was going on. She walked quickly away.
The following year Alex got a younger brother and sister. Robby and Tessa.
By then Alex was speaking in complete sentences and understood what an elyra was. She still wasn’t able to use or even touch one and whenever she reached to touch one of the ones her siblings left out, Her mother r father just picked her up and moved her to the punishment room. Which was just a tiny room with a chair. She usually had to stay there for thirty minutes or more.
When she was three, her parents were finally letting her touch different elytras Thy were also taking her to all kinds of elytra activities. Including; battles, shows and more. When she found someone at a battle had dropped their elytra, she picked it up and said “Mom, can you return this to the owner of this elytra. But, she was busy talking with the winner of the battle.
The winner then noticed the elytra she was holding and snatched it and hollered “Stp holding my elytra! Didn’t your parents ever teach you anything?!”
Then someone that looked too strong for an elytra legend ran in and said “Let’s see, this arena will be torn down and made into a hall of Stonecutters! THe building and elytra council already agreed.”
Alex’s mom said “Excuse me. This arena is property of the Alteris family you can not just take over it”
“No it isn’t! All arenas are run by council and your arena is no different. Oh and little girl, you have to help build it”
Alex’s mother said “No way! We despise that family!”
“Sorry, they paid all the councils needed to approve this 100,000,000,000,009 diamonds. And you can’t override it!”
Alex’s mother sighed “Honey, our arena is getting torn down”
“Wait… it isn’t” said the person who said it was before running off.
Everybody said “That was… Strange”
Reggie said “Guys, that was a Stonecutter.”
“How do you know?”
“I just do okay? Also, who else would do that to us?”
“You’re right”
They left.
When Alex turned four, she got her very first elytra. She tried it on and she hated how it felt on her neck. She took it off and threw it into the reject pile.
Her mother grabbed it and said “Alex! You have to do elytra or our legacy will break. And the Stonecutter legacy will win”
The week after Alex got three more siblings Agnes, Edna, and Ella.
Alex’s mom said “Come on Alex! We’re taking you to your first elytra battle. Don’t worry, it’s against a beginner”
Alex groaned and said “Why do I have to do elytra?”
“Why does a creeper explode? Because it’s what we’re supposed to do. Listen sweetie, just become a legend. Then I don’t care if you quit elytra or continue. But, become a legend”
Four year old Alex had to make a difficult choice; either fake illness or go. She decided to fake redstone fever. She ran to her room and got a clump or redstone that was turned on. Se gulped and ate it. She didn't realize how painful it would be. But, sure enough, her mother fell for the fake redstone fever the only bad thing was, she couldn’t go out for ice cream that day.
When she was just getting ready for her favorite show, her mother came up and said “Sweetie, I brought your doctor over to or house to see if you actually have redstone fever or not..”The doctor came in “Hi” they said “Alex, spit in this tube for me. And gave Alex a little tube. Alex spat into it until it was full.
“Thank you Now I’ll take your temperature.”
Alex pulled back her hair and said “Ready”
They took her temperature and said “The temperature matches up. Now, I’ll have to test this spit sample.” They pulled out a machine and poured the spit into it and it made a correct noise.
The doctor said “She does. Hate to say it. She’ll have to stay home and spend no time on technology for a week.”
Four year old Alex couldn’t quite understand that concept and said “What?!”
Her mom said “I’ll make sure that happens thank you”
“Goodbye”
“Bye”
Alex snuggled up with her stuffed Allay and said “What did they mean by a week?”
Her mom said “Don’t worry, I’ll care for you. I’ll also bring you your meals. Now how the heck did you get Redstone fever?”
“I don’t know.”
Marcus saw what she did to cause it and unfortunately every family has that one child that tattles on their siblings. Marcus was the one that told on everyone in her family.
“I saw her eat redstone that was turned on”
“You did what Alex?!”
Alex said “I ate redstone that was turned on” hanging her head
“Missy! You are grounded for a month! The only reasons you can leave this house are for elytra purposes and when we go shopping. Oh and by the way in two weeks we were going to send you to an event for kids around your age”
Alex started sobbing and said “Screw you Marcus! You seem to hate me! I’m not going to your birthday party in two weeks”
Alex’s mom slapped her “You weren’t supposed to tell him! Also yes you are!”
Marcus left laughing “I just love ruining her life”
