Once home, Alex said “Here, I’ll let you keep a lock of my hair. Can I keep some of your hair?”
Seve nodded and cut off a little of his hair. He handed it over to Alex and said “I can assume you want one of my awards or tapes or one of each.”
Alex said “One of each would be lovely.” and cut off a strand of hair and handed it to Steve.
Steve then grabbed one of his PvP awards and one of his battle tapes and handed them to Alex.”
Alex said “I’ll talk to you every day at 1:00 or so. Trust me, we can still be friends.”
Steve said “Okay. Now, can we please have one last trip as a family?”
Alex said “Sure! Where would you like to go?”
“My old arena”
Alex sighed and said “Sure”
They then went to the arena and Steve patted Zuri’s back and said “I won’t be able to attend any of your PvP games anymore. I’ll still watch them though”
Zuri said “Oh. Will you be okay?”
“Yeah. Besides, if you tape them, I can watch them when you visit me.”
The other kids said “Please attend our events.”
Steve said “Would if I could.”
Zuri said “Steve! Want to take one last look in every room?”
“Yeah.”
Steve then looked in every room and took a picture of himself in each room and said “Ready!”
Zuri said “for what?”
“Oh never mind. I just want to go home”
Alex then took all of them home and once home said “Welp, any battles I Haven't seen that you want me to see?”
Steve said “You've seen every battle but the one of my most famous defeat”
“Can I see that one?”
Steve laughed “Oh sure! What better way to spend our last night together than watching that one?”
They went downstairs and started to watch the video of Steve’s most famous defeat.
After the video was over, they made dinner together and had a nice dinner alone.
That night Steve watched TV with Alex until he fell asleep.
The next morning when he got up, Alex kissed his cheek and said “Goodbye Steve. I’ll miss you.”
Steve sobbed “And I you”
All the kids came down and said “Steve, we’ll all miss you.”
Zuri said “Steve, all the kids were up all night making a goodbye gift for you. I was the one who made the mini swords and everyone else contributed something else”
Noor then handed Steve a box and Steve carefully opened it and said “Oh my! This is amazing! I see a little model of the family. Who contributed to that?”
Rana said “That would be me. If you look closely you’re holding a sword”
Steve said “And the little model of my arena?”
Ari said “I did that”
Efe said “I contributed a few mini PvP awards.”
Kai said “So did I”
Makenna said “The rest of us did. I was the only one who did your house..”
Alex said “And I contributed my locket with a photo of us in it.”
Steve said “Aww thank you so much! I couldn’t have been this happy without the love and support of you guys”
Alex said “Goodbye Steve, I’ll see you this time next year”
Null was waiting outside for Alex.
When Alex left, Steve followed her as far as possible. He followed her until she told him to go home.
Once home, he realized just how big his house was.
He sighed and said “Maybe I can get Carol to love me again.”
Carol then came to the door and said “I just wanted to let you know, I’m getting back together with Oliver.
Steve said “Good for you. I just realized how big this house really is.”
Carol said “Oh Steve, Here’s a family simulator. It simulates my family but will that work?”
“Yeah”
Carol then handed over the family simulator.
Steve then entered his cavernous house and sighed “I miss the days when Zuri would bother me. You know what? Let me hear their voices one last time before I start working on my schedule and trying to make the house feel less empty.”
He then quickly called Alex and it went right to voicemail.
Steve sighed and said “Might as well start to plan out my schedule”
Steve then started to plan out his daily schedule and halfway through planning, he got a call from Alex.
He instantly picked it up and said “Hello, I’m just calling one last time to hear all your voices”
Alex looked at the time and said “Three hours. Longer than expected. Now I know my situation may seem bad but trust me, I’ve been in worse. Just don’t call me either because well…if you call me, I only get half an hour. Don’t call unless it’s absolutely necessary”
Steve said “I’m just trying to find ways to make the house feel less empty”
Alex said “I know the pain is very strong for you. Just remember, I’ll always be right beside you emotionally.”
Steve said “Aww. Thanks”
Rana then said “Hey Steve!”
Alex said “Rana! He’s calling for some comfort! Please don’t talk to him.”
Steve sighed and said “Just wanted to make sure you were okay.”
“Aww. Well I am. I’m just stopping for lunch. So, you can talk to me in a little”
“I miss you. Any chance you’ll come home soon?”
Alex laughed warmly and said “No. I’m sorry, I love you. This may seem like a very selfish choice but trust me, I’m doing this for you. He says you can visit from time to time.”
