The council came down to Steve who was back in the arena and said “Steve, have you decided which one you’ll keep?”
Steve sighed and said “I’ll keep a photo of me in my arena to remind me of better times. By the way, who will get my house?”
“Oh… Nobody we think you’ve ever met. They may give it back to you if they know you. Also, everything in your house comes with it.”
“Even my custom swords?”
“Yes”
“Even Zuri’s awards?”
“Well… we’ll see about that one. She’ll probably get to keep those.”
“Oh. Okay”;
Alex ran out onto the arena floor and said “Excuse me. PvP council… he still has to turn in his PvP things”
Steve slowly handed in his things and when he handed over his sword the council said “Oh and Steve, you’ll get one more interview”
Alex then handed Steve’s phone to Steve and said “Steve, I know you’ll want this.”
The council said “Steve, you get to keep ONE PvP thing of your choice.”
Alex then took Steve home with the council following close behind.
When Steve got home he cried and said “I’ll miss you. I have a lot of great memories here.”
The council then said “Alright Steve, time to decide. If you want you can have two PvP things in exchange for the photo of you with your arena. Which by the way, we’re tearing down”
Steve sighed and said “I choose to only have one PvP thing. I choose…my custom sword that is completely unused.”
“Okay grab it and get out. We’ll start finding people who want to buy this place tomorrow.”
Zuri then said “Guys, I’m willing to offer my entire legacy for Steve to keep this home”
The council said “No!”
Zuri said “Steve, don’t worry. I’ll find a way.”
Steve said “Zuri, please don't. I want one person in my family to be a legend. Okay?”
The council said “Oh in that case, We hereby permanently cut your entire family off from PvP”
Zuri said “Steve, you could-”
Steve glared at her and yelled “Could what?! All you guys have done to me is cause me to lose everything you know what?! I’m glad I will never see any of you again!”
Alex said “Excuse me. Shouldn’t Steve get one more chance?”
Steve said “Alex, you have no idea how many chances they’ve given me. I quite frankly expected this a very long time ago.”
The council said “Steve, get out! Someone is coming to look at your house soon.”
Steve slowly walked out of his house and while he did, he cried.
Before he left, he got a picture of him with all his PvP things.
He sighed and said “Goodbye old girl. I’ll never forget those wonderful years I lived in you”
He took a picture of the outside of his house and left.
That night when he returned he saw people eating dinner in the living room. When he saw this he knew it was sold.
Then someone came to the door and opened it and yelled “Get off my property Steve!”
Steve said “I’m sorry. Can I live on the front lawn until I get used to having nowhere to sleep?”
The person said “Well… only tonight.
Then Alex walked up to Steve and said “Steve, I was researching and there is a single way to regain your family legacy. But, you’ll not get your personal one back.”
Steve then said “tell me tomorrow morning”
Steve then laid down and went to sleep.
The next morning, Steve stood up and stretched and said “Welp, I’ve got to get used to living like this.”
Then someone came out of his house and said “Steve? Is that you? We haven't spoken since the incident.”
Steve said “Hello Dennis”
Dennis said “How's the legacy?”
“I lost it all. I made one lousy mistake after another and they finally removed my legacy, the family legacy and my ability to do PvP''
Alex then came in and said “Steve, I’ve found somewhere where we can live.”
Steve said “That’s nice but I’m staying here!”
“You know you aren’t allowed to!”
“Well this is my twin brother. He said I could stay here.”
Dennis said “Honey?! Can my twin brother Steve stay here?”
“You heard the council. We can’t let him inside for more than three hours”
Steve said “Sorry I wasted your time guys, I may as well get out of your way”
Steve then left with Alex; and Dennis said “Wait Steve! Have you forgiven me because I have forgiven you!”
“You forgot my initiation ceremony! I will never forgive you!”
Dennis said “Pfft! What I did to you was nothing compared to what you did to me!{“\
Alex quite angrily said “What was it?”
“Let’s see… he forgot my fifth birthday, he didn’t attend my graduation AND stole my most prized item!”
Steve sighed and said “This is the hardest thing I’ll ever need to do. But, I forgive you”
Alex then pulled Steve away from his house and into the car where Rana was waiting for them/.
Alex sighed and said “You know how you always said you never wanted to stay in one of those places for broken down old legends?... well… I found one of those places for you to stay at. We’ll be staying in Kathy’s house. We’ve already signed you up for it.”
Steve sighed and held his head in his hand and said “Welp… I really don’t care anymore. My family was the second longest legacy”
Steve then got a call from the council saying that he had to come to the PvP news station for one last interview.
Steve slowly told Alex and Alex took him to the news station.
When he got out, everyone rushed him in and said “Steve, we need to get you to put on make-up now!”
Steve was rushed to the make up room and was told to take a seat.
Steve said “Hmm… Had hundreds of PvP news interviews…never have I once had to come here.”
One of the people said “Now this may sound crazy. The one you do isn’t run by the council even though it’s at that building. We’re the one run by the council.”
“Are you the one I watch?”
“Yes… wait…. Half the time, yes.”
Steve then got done with his prep and was rushed out.
He sat down in a chair and someone came out and said “3…2…1 and we’re on”
The person said “Last interview before your family’s legacy is flung to the side of history like a clay sword. Okay, Steve… What was your favorite battle?”
“My one with Alex… if you don’t remember what number; but I think that was my 201st battle”
“Oh my! Why is that?”
“She was my most challenging one on one competitor I ever did … that i won”
“Oh we see. Now can we please see a clip of you in that battle?”
“Sure!”
The news team then showed a clip of the battle.
Steve watched the clip and sighed heavily and said “Too bad I’ll never see that battle again.”
One of the people doing the interview said “Steve, goodbye. We’ll at least let you walk out of here with dignity.” and walked Steve out on the carpet of failures.
Before Steve left, he sighed and said “I never wanted it to come to this but, Can I become a member of council?”
The people stopped walking him out and said “We’ll discuss it with your family”
Steve sighed and finished walking out.
The council members that walked him out then took him, Alex and Rana to the discussing room.
Once in there, the council sat down and Steve headed over to the couch with his family.
The person said “We’ll wait here until the inspection team comes by”
Alex said “How long will that be?”
“Usually a half hour”
A half hour later the inspection team came into the room and said “Alright, I can assume it’s you who wants to join us Steve. Seeing as you are over 70, you have a lower chance at making it. But, as you are under 120, you can still make it. Let’s see, we’ll just see if you can answer these questions.”
Steve nodded and said “I know if I tell a lie it will have to go to one of the punishments for PvP people.”
The council laughed and said “You aren’t a legend anymore. If you lie to us, we can’t touch you but any from the nothing special council will bring you to their starvation pit or whatever”
“Oh. Now on an unrelated topic, why are the two of you in chairs?”
The person who was at the computer said “Steven, this doesn’t look good. You have to answer 50 PvP council related questions about rules, expectations and all that”
Then one of the council members said “What time do you have to be in the building if you work for council.”
“6:30?”
“Yep.”
They asked 49 questions more and Steve only got four more right.
The council said “Tsk tsk tak Steve, you know so little about the council, we can’t believe you were even a legend! You know little to nothing about the council! No wonder you’re the first one to use all 500 chances”
“Wait what!? I used 500 chances?! Oh dear! I’m a disgrace! Don’t look at me”as he tried to hide.
“Yes you are a disgrace! In fact, we’ll make you leave in the most humiliating way we’re allowed to do to anyone. The catapult”
Steve gasped and said “No! Give me one more chance! I promise I’ll do better.”
The council said “The council of councils wouldn’t like it. So, no!”
Alex said “He understands.”
The council then tied Steve up in a catapult and said “Steven Stonecutter, you have permanently soiled the rank of legend for all categories. Do you have anything to say for yourself before we fling you into the lava pools for all eternity?”
Alex said “No! I deserve this. Not him. I was the one to call you all those times.”
One of the people said “Alex? I haven't seen you in years!”
“Yeah. I missed you Isabella! Remember how we used to carelessly run through the forest.”
“Yeah. We used to laugh and laugh when one of us tripped because the other would always purposefully trip and we tried to make i funny as possible”
“Yeah. Remember when you purposely tripped and while you were falling you flapped your arms like a bird?”
“Yes! If I remember correctly, that's why you were banned from seeing me because I injured myself so badly.”
