When they got home, Steve sighed heavily and said “So good for things to be normal again”
Alex said “I’m just happy you’re happy again and I don’t have to pretend you're the legend anymore now you really are the legend.”
Zuri said “Steve, hate to ruin the moment but don’t you think that getting everything back to normal is a little suspicious?”
Alex glared at her and said “Please Zuri, he just got his title back and he has been trying to get it back for months. And he can’t have it ruined now”
Steve then said “Zuri, you’re right. But, whatever!”
Then someone came by and said “Steven Stonecutter, you have just won your legacy back. We will have to take one PvP thing of yours a week until you have no more.”
Zuri then got up from the floor and got up in the person’s face and said “You will not do that to Steve! That wasn’t part of the agreement!”
Steve said “Zuri! Stop! You’re yelling at a council member!”
The council member said “Zuri, you’re right. Goodbye.”
Zuri came up to Steve and said “I just saved your legacy.”
Steve said “Great job”
Then there was another visitor.
The visitor said “Hello, I represent the head of PvP. They have asked me to tell you to get out”
Alex said “Why exactly?”
Steve hissed “This person can ruin your life if you question or don't listen to them.”
Alex said “I’m sorry” offended
They then rushed out and said “There, we’re all out”
The person then took off their mask and laughed evilly and said “I’m the all mighty Null!
Steve gasped and said “Oh no! Alex, I’m sorry. We best all say our goodbyes to you.”
Alex said “But, why?”
Steve said “This person is Null. theycan destroy anything in a short time. We mustdo exactly what he says to do or we’re cll goners. But, because you questioned him, you’re definitely going to be done for”
“Just because I asked a question?! Isn’t that extreme?”
Steve said “Everyone say goodbye to Alex”
All the kids said “Goodbye Alex, we’ll all miss you”
Steve however hugged her and said “Alex , I’m so sorry for you. If I had have known, I would totally have gotten all of us to my safe zone”
Null then boomed “Silence! Steve, hand over all your awards. You too Zuri. Also you Sunny!”
Alex said “Pretty much everyone in the family has an award”
“Well then everyone get all your awards. And no crying when handing them over. You may keep any certificates you have and any battle tapes.”
Zuri got up and firmly said “No way mister! Steve will never do that for you. He just got his turtle back!”
Steve then covered Zuri’s mouth and said “Do you want to get me killed?! Because that’s where you’re going!”
“So sorry Steve”
Null said “Steve come to me”
Steve slowly came to Null and gulped.
Null said “You think you’re better than me Steve? You think you can keep your awards away from me?! Well you’re wrong! I challenge you to a greifing battle! One who gets their build destroyed more loses''
Steve said “When will it be?”
“Tomorrow.”
Steve said “Deal. I know you still want my awards so, I’ll go get them”
Null cackled and said “No! You can’t go inside until tomorrow after the battle that is if you win”
Ari said “If he loses?”
“He’s gone! No more Steve! Oh and the battle will be at my arena. Goodbye”
Noor said “Steve! Are you crazy? That was Null! He has done over 1,000 greifing battles and never has lost one. Are you sure you want to go through with this?”
Steve said “Yes. I used to be the best greifer out there.”
The next day at the greifing arena, Steve was having second thoughts.
Steve said “Maybe I shouldn’t do this. I mean I’m so stressed out right now.”
Noor said “Here maybe I’ll give you a few tips”
Alex said “Noor, now you know you aren’t allowed to do that. Steve has stepped into the arena and custom forbids him from leaving it until after the battle”
Steve then said “Goodbye.” and stepped his second foot into the arena.
He went to the emerald doorway and entered.
When the announcement came on to press the button, Steve pressed the button very slowly.
Steve gulped and said “Alright. Master griefer vs master at PvP.”
Steve then exited the prep room and saw how big the audience was.
Steve gulped and said “Oh how I wish I had have looked at Noor’s notes on greifing contraptions then I would be okay to do this. Welp better start building.”
He then used stone to build a tall structure with a few greifing contraptions.
When the battle started, Steve started activating rhe levers like crazy and at the nd his build was almost totally destroyed and Nulls build was about half destroyed.
When Steve got down from his build, Null drew his sword and was about to kill Steve when Alex yelled “Over here Null!”
Null looked over at Alex and Alex gave a thumbs up.
Steve dashed to the car and slammed the door.
About an hour later, Alex came with the kids and said “I got him to delay your death by a few years.”
“What’s the catch?”
Alex sighed and said “We have to split up”
“For how long?”
“I’m sorry, the answer is forever.”
Steve said “Why does he want us broken up?”
“Urrg I never thought I would have to relive this. He was very briefly my boyfriend. Then he turned evil on me and yeah. He’s been looking for me for a very long time. We are allowed to keep in touch though. We’re allowed to talk to each other for an hour a day.”
Rana said “I’ll be staying with Alex!”
All the other kids said “When we visit, we’ll also stay with Alex!”
Alex said “You do get your house back though. At least that’s good and you don't have to give up anything.”
Steve looked at Alex with tears filling his eyes.
Alex said “He said we could have a month more.”
Steve wiped his eyes and said “Really?”
“Yes”
All the kids said “Alex, he said you had to break up within three days. You don’t have another month.”
Alex said “I was just trying to ease the pain! But now you can deal with his sadness”
Zuri said “Hey, don’t you still have that old battle tape of you and her? Don’t you have all those videos of her? What about photos? And don’t you still have her things?”
Alex said “Kids, I have to take my things with me.”
The kids said “Oh, we can build a statue of her in your yard”
Steve said “Aww thanks”
Alex sad “I’ll still visit once every so often”
Steve said “How often?”
“Oh. Once a year for a week”
Null then came out to Alex and said “Have you broken up yet?”
“I’m still easing him into it”
Steve said “I challenge you to a PvP battle Null! If you lose, you’ll have to leave me and Alex together but if you win, you can have her forever”
Alex said “He’s just kidding.” And said “Trust me Steve, you’ll thank me.”
Null said “Break up with him and there will be an extended life for him”
Alex patted Steve’s back and said “I’ll take you home then it’s over. I’m sorry”
Steve then got in the car and sighed when Alex got in.
Alex patted Steve’s back and said “Hey, at least he said the month before he killed you, I can stay with you.”
Steve sighed and said “Really?”
She nodded
