Noor then quickly crafted a golden apple and offered it to Steve and Steve said “No amount of golden apples will make me happy”
Noor then crafted an enchanted golden apple and offered it “Nice try, no amount of enchanted golden apples will make me happy either. You know what?! Alex’s punishment stands as well as you having to become a PvP legend!”
Noor said “What level?”
“At least five. Oh and I won’t have anyone help you!”
“Five?! That’s insanely difficult to reach!”
“And yet, I somehow made it to level 25”
Noor said “Fine. But, I’ll quit immediately”
Steve then saw Zuri right in front of him and Zuri said “Hello Steve, Want to battle?”
Steve said “Of course I want to battle you Zuri. But, I'm too old now. Noor, your punishment is off.”
Alex looked at Steve a little worriedly and said “Steve, you do know she’s dead now. Right?”
Steve said “She respawned”
Alex sighed and said “Maybe he’ll be used to it in a few hours.”
Five hours later, Steve saw Zuri heading upstairs and Steve said “Zuri! I missed you so much! I knew you couldn’t be killed permanently by what Noor did.”
Alex sighed and said “Steve, don’t make me tie you to the bed so you can’t move!”
An hour later when Steve was polishing his awards, he heard Zuri say “Steve, do you want my special sword?”
Steve said “Aww Zuri, no thanks.”
Alex overheard that and said “Alright! Time to tie you to the bed unless you admit Zuri isn’t coming back!”
Steve said “She has respawned! You can’t see her?!”
Alex said “Steve lay down in bed!”
Steve said “Just let me polish this last award.”
15 minutes later, Steve was tied to his bed.
Alex said “I’m sorry Steve, I had to. I’m worried you’re going crazy. If you are going crazy, I don’t want anyone in the family anywhere near you!”
Steve said “I’m not going crazy, I really did see her.”
Kathy then came over to drop off flowers. Alex answered it and said “Steve can’t talk to you now. He was going crazy so I had to tie him to his bed.”
Kathy dropped the flowers and said “Alex, perhaps I should’ve told you this a long time ago; But, Steve, he hates being tied to things. In fact, I’ve seen him nearly bite off his arm when I was caring for him when he was rising to the ranks. He kept saying he saw his parents. I knew they weren’t with me. Trust me, you do not want to mess with him now especially. An angry PvP legend usually does not end well for the legend.”
Alex said “Oh no! I put Steve’s life in danger just because I thought he was going crazy?!”
“I’m afraid so.”
Alex rushed upstairs and unlocked the door and came in to see Steve quietly sleeping.
Alex said “He’s relaxed.”
Steve then woke up and said “Zuri! Come here!” and Steve saw Zuri come into the room
Alex said “Steve, accept it, she’s gone!”
A week later, Steve had accepted Zuri wasn't coming back.
A month later in the middle of the night, Zuri respawned.
Zuri came into Steve’s room and Steve saw her and said “I know you aren’t really here!
Alex then came out and said “She really is here”
Steve ran up to Zuri and yelled “Get out of my head!”
Zuri said “Silly man, I wouldn’t fit in there!”
Steve then ran up to Zuri and hugged her.
Then there was a strange knock at the door.
Steve answered it and said “Hello,”
The person on the other side said “I’m the keeper of the inventory. I randomly picked your house today and I want to see if you have an enchanted iron sword.”
Steve said “I have one in my sword cabinet.”
Zuri said “Here you go!”
The keeper of the inventory grabbed the sword and ran away.
Zuri started to cry and said “They faked it! The one who claimed to me the keeper of inventory took the family sword”
Steve said “Zuri! Are you kidding me?! Now my family sword is with some loser and my family has to find it.”
Alex said “You could use the tracking chip in it to find it”
Steve then rushed everyone to the car and said “Follow the sword!”
Alex pulled out of the driveway accidentally hitting Kathy.
Steve got out and grabbed Kathy’s wrist and said “Talk to me Kathy. Just one word that’s all I ask”
Kathy said “I’m afraid my sword is on its last swing. I may have an hour left. But, no more.”
Steve carried Kathy in and said “I’ll stay with you until you die. I’ll hold your hand until you die.” and grabbed Kathy’s hand.
Kathy said “Steve, I want to feel your family sword as my last wish.”
Steve sighed and said “Someone stole it!”
Kathy said “Thanks for telling the truth. I would however like to feel your most prized possession.”
Steve reached into his pocket and pulled out his precious locket and handed it over.
Steve said “I’ve been here for you since after I moved out. Remember how scrawny I was back when you adopted me?”
“Yeah. I still have a few pictures of you that I never gave you”
Steve said “It’s fine, I don’t need them. Zuri respawned if that helps at all”
Kathy said “THank you for all your support. I think I’m ready to die now.”
Steve hugged her and said “I’m so sorry you’re dying so young!”
Kathy said “Woah there Steve! I’m not young! I’m 30 years older than you! I’m not young anymore. Now, take me to my bed and I can die in peace”
Steve sighed and helped Kathy walk to her bed and the whole way there, said comforting things.
Once Kathy was laying down, Kathy said “I’m going to ask one last time. What happens after I die?”
Steve knew nothing would happen except falling into the void. But, he wanted Kathy to feel loved and supported so, he said “You get sent to a tropical island where you can see all your family that has died. You can still communicate with the living people through these special phones and every night you get your favorite meal and you can get revenge on those who doubted you. There’s way more but I really don’t want to tell you anymore other than every night, you get to relive a happy memory even if you don’t remember it right now.”
Kathy said “Aww Steve, I’ll miss you” and died.
Steve headed back to the car and Alex said “Steve, could you revive her?”
Steve said “No.”
Alex said “Well… the person who took your sword is now extremely far away and we’ll never be able to catch up.”
Steve said “What does it matter anymore? My legacy is over! That sword was the only thing keeping our legacy from falling apart.”
Zuri said “Steve, I could craft you a stronger sword that could be the family sword”
Steve said “Aww Zuri, I really appreciate that. But, that sword has been passed down through my family for over 20 generations. If the news team finds out someone outside my family has it,I’ll have to surrender my legacy to that family and history will never be the same”
Zuri said “Oh so all you care about is the legacy?! It was never bonding time at all!?”
Steve said “I’m afraid so”
Zuri started to cry.
Alex said “Steve, we’ll take care of this. Here’s my phone” and tossed Steve her phone.
Steve caught it just before it hit the ground. He tried to get back up but couldn’t
Ari said “Alex, if it would be okay with you, I think I’ll stay back here in the village. I think Steve needs me”
Alex said “Fine! But if he ever starts to make you do training and you don’t want to, call me”
Ari got out, Alex drove away and Ari helped Steve up.
Ari said “Do you want a golden apple? Potion of healing?”
Steve said “Aww Ari, that’s very sweet of you but,all I want is Kathy to respawn”
Ari said “Would watching a few of your old battles help?”
Steve said “Maybe. I’ll commemorate the good old days where I could do battles”
Ari then said “Where are the tapes stored?”
“Oh Alex hid them. I think it was so I would pay more attention to her.”
Ari then found the box of tapes and pointed at them and said “Right there!”
“Oh, I’m much too old to climb on chairs. You know that”
Ari then put a block underneath her and grabbed the box on top.
Steve realized what was in the box, He said “Care-” but the box had slipped and fell to the ground he caught less than an inch from the ground.
Steve opened the box that was accidentally dropped and saw the thing it protected was safe.
Ari then grabbed the tapes and brought them down.
Steve went to the kitchen and popped some popcorn and grabbed some pretzels.
He then came out and said “Ready!”
