Sunny said “I should too. That’s actually what I needed help with”
Steve scoffed and said “I really can’t help you with a speech unless it is a PvP speech”
Sunny said “Please?”
Steve said “No! You could ask your mother for help”
Alex yelled “I can’t help her tonight! After I’m done with preparing dinner, I’m going out with a friend”
Steve yelled “Who is it?”
“Oh, you never met them. They are named Sasha Springs”
“Yeah, I don’t know them”
Alex said “I’ll be out really late, kids! Steve, Make sure Sunny has a speech prepared for tomorrow”
Then she completed dinner and yelled “I’m going out now” and left.
Then all the kids ran up to Steve and asked to play with him and Steve said “No! I have to help Zuri and Sunny and I have to prepare my own speech for tomorrow” and warmly laughed.
All the kids said “Please?”
Steve said “Nope!”
All the kids said “Can you at least give us something to keep us all occupied?”
Steve said “Okay, each of you write a five paragraph PvP essay. And I will read them all!”
All the kids ran to their rooms to start working on their essay.
Sunny and Zuri came down with Steve. They all went to the dining room and sat down.
Steve said “Okay, I i'll get all of us papers”
Steve then grabbed papers and pens for all of them.
When he had handed them all out, he said “Okay everyone write Thank you so much for this prestigious honor. I couldn’t have done it without the encouragement of my friends and family. I only wish my real parents were here to see this. I love to do redstone or in Zuri's case PvP because whatever you like to do in that.” and then cry lightly.
Sunny and Zuri wrote everything down and said “Done”
Steve looked at the papers and nodded.
Then he cooked dinner and called everyone down.
After dinner, Steve said “Zuri, Sunny, We will do a practice run through the speech you’ll give. We’ll do it in the living room.”
Then there was knocking at the door.
Steve looked outside to see it was pouring rain. He slowly opened the door and it was a kid. The kid ran inside wearing muddy boots..
Steve said “Would you be so kind as to take off those muddy boots?”
The kid took off their boots and said “Where would you like me to put them?”
“By the door you came in is fine.”
The kid then looked at Steve and said “Aren’t you Steven Stonecutter?”
Steve sighed and said “My PvP days are long past me. But, yeah.”
The kid said “Can I stay here for the night?”
Steve said “Well… let me call your parents.”
The kid said “No! They hate you! Let me rephrase that. They absolutely despise you. No, they loathe you! They said if you ever call them, they will send you texts that well…. Aren’t exactly kind to your beliefs about PvP. I ran away because they told me to run and find you and well end you. But, I’m not going to do that.”
Steve said “Kid, kid, I promise I will just hide in the shadows of PvP forever.By the way what’s your mother’s phone number?”
The kid took the phone out of Steve’s hand and said “She hates you more than the people you griefed in your earlier days do.”
All Steve's kid’s jaws dropped.
Steve said “Kid, I have no clue what you’re talking about.”
The kid said “Yeah really? We watched you confess the whole thing about you being Tristan.”
All Steve’s kids dropped their ice cream and yelled “We don’t respect you anymore.”
Zuri huffily said “Yeah! I was going to do a special thank you in my speech tomorrow but now forget it!! In fact, I’m not even going to watch you get your award! Hmph” and stormed off
Steve burrowed his face in his hands, tears streaming down his face and ran away.
Noor said “I’ll go comfort him” and followed Steve at a distance.
When Steve slammed the door, Noor came up to the door, pressed his ear up to the door and knocked lightly.
Steve said “Come to make me feel worse? Well too bad ‘m going to permanently kill myself in hardcore mode!”
Noor then ran in and said “Steve! You will NOT do that! What would Alex say if she knew what you are planning on doing!”
Steve continued yelling he was going to die in hardcore mode.
Noor said “Steve, I have no choice other than be mean to you. I’m picking the one that will be the least permanent; calling Alex”
Steve continued yelling about hardcore mode.
Noor grabbed his phone and called Alex.
Alex picked up immediately. Alex said “What is the problem Noor? Oh right, it’s about the time when he does that kind of thing. I just hope you didn’t try to help.”
Noor gulped and said “What if I did?” nervously as he tugged his collar.
“Are you asking for a friend or did you actually?”
“For a friend”
“He will be up all night. Remember that week all the kids stayed in a different village house?
“Yeah”
“That was why. Give him the phone. But first put me on speaker.”
Noor turned on the speaker and handed Steve the phone.
Alex said “Steve I want you to listen closely to these ocean sounds. And Noor please be quiet” and started to make ocean noises.
Steve kept yelling and Alex said “Noor, you did actually try to make it better.”
“Sorry”
Alex said “Noor, who was it that upset him?”
“A kid who Steve let in whose parents claim to hate him started it. Then Zuri really was the one that set him off”
Alex said “Steve, did the kid bring up you being Tristan?”
Steve stopped yelling and said “Yeah” and didn’t go back to yelling.
Alex said “Hey Sasha,can I have your phone, I sent you my playlist to calm him down.”
Sasha logged onto her account and played the calming playlist and within minutes Steve was humming along to the music.
Alex paused the music and Noor said “Steve, I really respect you more now I know you were a griefer”
Steve sniffled and said “Really?”
Noor nodded and went back down with Steve.
When Steve got down, he was horrified to find the children had filled all his bowls and pots with mud fro outside and were throwing mud at each other.
Steve yelled “Everyone please stop!”
Makenna mockingly said “Or what? You’ll take all my PvP awards” and scoffed.[
Steve ran back upstairs and slammed the door.
